Ain't happening Phil. DM is in 'charge' of all things 'football'. So that will be fully integrated into his contract. Until he goes 'all things football' are doomed,as we have seen, and are seeing.

Agree, he needs to go and be replace with a DoF and a new manager. Head of scouting need to go as well because we have certainly gone down hill since he arrived but ultimately we need a quality DoF to get the right people in.

I have never seen so much bo11ocks posted on a fan website ever.Every one can pick a team better than any manager. Every one has got 15 million to put into a football club and then get dogs abuse.Today Clark had severe cramp but of course a  16 year old could seamlessly replace him.against their most dangerous player.Hall was moved back and a forward was brought on.Of course it’s all down to Moore. He needs to players who don’t get injured.Hall was a disgrace for dislocating his shoulder.Clark could hardly walk but so what.Get on with it you girl.If I was Carol I’d tell you to stick your football club up your arse and ride out of Dodge with my 15 million.

Lomax is 20. Just saying like

Stockley is a really odd one. Just 7/8 months on from that fantastic day at Wimbledon he's now surplus to requirements it seems and playing second fiddle to a loanee who can just about put one front into the other.

I don't think it's the meeting, he barely features before that.

He's 33 and his career in it's Autumn but he's a proven lower league striker including league one.

Really peculiar way to treat the guy.

Is he the saviour and could keep us up, too late for that , but his exclusion is another Moore oddity.

Very strange I agree. People have written him off from the odd few times we’ve seen him this season. But every time he’s played we’ve never put balls in the box and he’s been isolated. Don’t think we’ve ever seen him up top with a forward like he was with Tolaj.

For me there’s no reason he shouldn’t be up to the level. He’s played most of his career at league 1 and even some championship. Had roughly 20 goals and assists last year. And now apparently he’s not good enough? Total rubbish imo.

and is clearly close to his family and guided by his faith.

I hadnt considered this before. But could this be a reason that carol is so attached to keeping him?

Peter Miller used to talk a lot about his faith.

I thought that it was quite odd that Moore mentioned in his prematch about Peterborough having the new manager bounce when Williams was appointed, something that we absolutely never saw when Moore came to the Vale.  In fact it was quite the opposite.

It was more like new manager millstone when Moore was appointed.

Genuinely a sensible managerial appointment, experienced DoF, and 2-3 normal signings whilst shipping out a lot of the dross would at least make us competitive and probably save a lot of goodwill from what has been an extremely tolerant fanbase.

We’re finished, and it’s incredible that there’s not a peep of protest, or anything bar a few very muted chants. Carol is extremely lucky that most fans appear to be holding back.

Perhaps that’s why they’re so easy to ignore.

Is Faal worse than Loft? Serious question. Was having a debate with my dad but we couldn’t decide.

Yes

DoF - we have been down there and it did not work - he just took the money which could have been used on the pitch.  Please say what Fraudcroft actually achieved and myself and others will change our views.

Agree with the Head of scouting - does he and his team actually watch the players more than twice.

The thing is, we've had one bad experience with Flitcroft. We can't assume that every DOF would be like that.

At the very least, we need someone who Moore is answerable to from a footballing perspective.

For what it’s worth I’ve given up. I won’t be going again. Completely lost my enthusiasm for anything Port Vale related nowadays.

We can’t keep having this discussion.

Flitcroft being bad should not mean the DoF model has to be ignored.

We need a Director who is in charge of the football things above the level of a manager, who makes all recruitment and long-term strategic choices beyond the 2 year cycles of managers - in other words, a Director of Football.

Someone with good experience at a clever club is obvious - not a Brent impersonator who came for the manager’s job.

Don’t let Flitcroft blind you to the concept that we need someone at director level to run the football club who has experience in running football clubs.

I’m almost there myself.  After the Ribeira/Brown psychodrama relegation I made the conscious decision to no longer get mentally involved, and didn’t watch the Vale for 1.5 seasons.
This time I think I’m just drifting away in apathy and thinking I’ve got better things to do on a Saturday afternoon…..

But the DF experiment was hardly a success was it?  As the saying goes; once bitten...............

Because she picked a crook that wasn’t hard to see was it bill bury fans were calling him a fraud long before he came to us.
She hasn’t got a clue of how to run the club playing wise none whatsoever it’s bad appointment after appointment.
