Then it was bad business in the first place not to tie him in to a tighter contract.  If the club thought he had potential, which clearly it did, a more sensibly constructed contract would have ensured he stayed.  Presumably whoever put together his contract on signing im thought that a £1.2 mill release clause was good business.  Clearly not, with his scoring ability where would we be in the league now?  I rest my case.

Ok! 😕

and back in the real world

If they are going to sack him, every hour counts.

They’ve already done probably irreparable damage to PVFC by neglecting this very obvious decision since Plymouth.

Every hour he remains in situ is an hour less appointing a new man before January, and an hour less of preparation they’ll have for this run of games in quick order.

The fact he wasn’t gone by 6pm last night and Carol was telling hospitality what a good 2025 we’ve had continues my view that we are a rudderless ship guided by IT people who really don’t understand football particularly well.

He either goes this morning or it’s further negligence which will always be held against the Shanahans - entirely of their own doing.

They aren't going to bin him off , Like I said it's time to take decisive action that'sin the best interests of the football club and fanbase or sell up because the vast majority of us have had enough of this shyte show and it needs to be addressed imminently or the fans are going to go f#ckin mental ffs , enough is enough.

Exactly my argument when he was sold 1.2m nowhere near enough it should have been sorted in the summer.
all I got on here was “how do you know the club didn’t try to sort it” same reason thee can’t sort out a proper manager same reason thee can’t sort out proper director of football.

What it the player does not want to re-negotiate his contract?

comments directed at management and board.

make little difference.

Nobody listens. Noticeable that media team has disappeared along with Carol CEO etc.

Hiding because no clue how to deal with this situation.

It's a proper shyte show , You're spot on

We can all bitch about Dazzler but deep down we all know she won't sack him and he's here long term relegation or not, so gird ya loins and buckle up it's going to be a rollercoaster, I'm so excited are you ?? [emoji23] Happy Xmas everybody and a prosperous New Year !! UTV.

If you don’t like turgid football, then you are probably supporting the wrong club. The vast majority of the last 25 years had been pretty turgid. People have short memories.

Without Carol we would most likely be a national league club. Yes this season hasn’t gone to plan but to say that you want her gone?…….. how many other people would want to invest the same amount money ?

The football under Mickey Adams was exciting, free flowing attacking football

Darren Moore's football philosophy is the complete opposite ultra cautious , playing players out of position and hoping for the best it's a complete clustef#ck  approach from a clueless manager

Because she picked a crook that wasn’t hard to see was it bill bury fans were calling him a fraud long before he came to us.
She hasn’t got a clue of how to run the club playing wise none whatsoever it’s bad appointment after appointment.

That's why she needs a DoF or similar, she admitted that.

Stockley is a really odd one. Just 7/8 months on from that fantastic day at Wimbledon he's now surplus to requirements it seems and playing second fiddle to a loanee who can just about put one front into the other.

I don't think it's the meeting, he barely features before that.

He's 33 and his career in it's Autumn but he's a proven lower league striker including league one.

Really peculiar way to treat the guy.

Is he the saviour and could keep us up, too late for that , but his exclusion is another Moore oddity.

Talking about peculiar what’s the deal with Shipley?

Has more L1 experience than most in the squad yet has been bombed.

Another Moore managerial masterclass.

How many Vale signings demand Release clauses?

And your point is? To answer  your question, I haven't a bleeding clue, have you? But that doesn't detract from the fact that in any negotiation a business should be mindful of what's best for that business and clearlyin Tolaj's case the contract appearsto have favoured him and not PV!

Not sure what world you're inhabiting, but in the real world, businesses negotiate better contracts!

Very very harsh on Cole. I thought he played well and worked his cream crackers off.  He had absolutely zero service and resorted to winning the ball 25 yards from goal to break quickly to try

Cole 7 for me.

I thought Cole was lazy for big chunks of the game, no movement at all off the ball, then at times he worked his socks off especially when moved to the left wing. Can’t put it down to fatigue because it was probably the last 20 minutes he worked the hardest. Overall I think he had a poor game.

Peter Miller used to talk a lot about his faith.

I've got zero faith in Darren Moore

I wouldn't trust him to run a bath 🛁

I also enjoyed watching Vale while Clarke was manager, well, for the promotion season and half the season after.
