You must be such a disappointment to your family

Put your handbags away ladies

I’m not ITK, but getting WBA to release Cole, we probably had to pay them. Then the transfer would mean the fee went straight into Cole’s sky rocket. Then his weekly pay times by his contract. Not including any bonuses, I can’t see anything being left of the Tolaj money.

As everyone knows, personal abuse is not allowed. I will be banning two members for a few days to allow things to calm down. If you don't want a ban simply follow the rules. If someone annoys you then ignore them (instructions at the bottom of every page). If you feel their post breaks the rules, do not respond but report them. Thanks.

God, you're hard work.  Of course I know how a release clause and other good business standard clauses in contract negotiation work. You're totally missing or not understanding the point that PV were out-negotiated by Taloj and his agent.

So were no other clubs in for Tolaj when we were then. I assume by your statements this must be the case, as i cant see how else we had such the upper hand in negotiations with him and his agent?

Have a word with yourself.  Faal will never make it as footballer as long as he's got a hole in his arse. He has trouble putting one foot in front of the other.  That is the biggest load of <ovf censored> you've ever written on here, and that takes some doing.

In your opinion .

5 -0 v Barnsley is our best all round performance going forwards this season is it not

Faal was holding ball up creating space for others and was all round terrific and we scored 5 goals ,Faal was in Coles position .

Is this true ,or did i imagine us putting 5 in with the player who cannot put one foot in front of other .

Anyway we bottom of league not like we dont need score goals

Lets play for a 0-0 at home at best with Cole shining in what way well im waiting see it .

Change it

He has to go. That’s me certainly not going until he does anyway. I’m not having another Christmas ruined watching us getting stuffed. This is worse than anything Crosby managed.

I agree 100% that he has to go but i will still be attending league because as i want to support my club(that's not me saying you are wrong not to by the way) and not the manager BUT no way will i be attending the FA cup game with him in charge

You can't cure stupid, @JohnDoe so wouldn't even bother trying.

Come on Carol please wake up and open your eyes

You have been fantastic for the club and i wont knock you BUT it is all solely down to you now to try and rescue our season as best as you can....... please make that decision

Oh well. The disappointment feeling left me weeks ago...

I said to my lad yesterday that i resigned myself to relegation after the Plymouth game so now that if good things do start to happen it will be a bonus but i dont get to down if we lose

When we signed Tolaj he'd been plying his trade in non league football.

We got him from aldershot!

Yes, he'd done well and been finding the net regularly for them but there was absolutely no guarantee whatsoever that he would turn out the way he did for us.

If someone had told any one of us that he'd get 13 goals that coming season, we'd go up and then he'd go for £1.2m i reckon the vast majority would take that no messing.

I think the tolaj deal in itself is exactly what we should be doing as a club.

Its disappointing a league 1 rival ended up getting him but that was purely down to the fact they needed him at the time and he fancied it.

How many players are plucked from non league and fail?

Look at paton, we took a similar punt on him and that ones gone the other way.  He'll end up released.

Forget the numbers. Forget he came from non league.

Anyone who watches football and doesn’t concentrate on data, could see that he was an absolute beast of a striker.
I will say this now, he is the best all round striker I’ve ever seen at Vale in 40 years.
He will go through the leagues. In two years he will be a premier league striker and will go for tens of millions.

He is a rare commodity. An absolute workhorse who scores goals for fun.
1.2 million was an absolute bargain. And yes I know he had a release clause but it should have been way higher when you look at the potential.

And imagine how many he would have scored if Moore hadn’t played him out wide and then bombed him for two months. No wonder the bloke wanted to leave after being treated like that from the dipshit of a manager we have.

It does in hindsight, I disagree that it was obvious he was going to do what he did.  Just as many look unstoppable in non league and fail at league level as those who go on to crack it.

£1.2m is a lot at our level, I think only Gareth ainsworth has ever left the vale for more than that.  Granted things have moved on since then, I'm not daft.

Its the hindsight that's making it look like it shouldve been higher.  He promising but nobody actually knew.  If it was that obvious, football would be very easy indeed.

Completely agree with the last bit, unbelievable that he was played out wide.  Thank god Stockley had the first half a season that he did.
