They can’t even get that right. I’ve had one and I didn’t go!

It’s like an email from the BBC .

WOW this is quite frankly embarrassing and totally unacceptable that DM isn't under any pressure.

For arguments sake and this is just a theory (no substance too what im about say but could be happening ).

The players want the manager out and the most telling reason for that is how big the injuries room has become .

I for 1 do not believe they all injured ,feigning it because dont want play for the manager or being told too feign it because the manager doesnt want select them .

That meeting the other week led by players is telling i personally think it was needed (i dont think the  manager would like that one iota and be not getting on with those players ) the 3 -5 -2 system was not working however yesterdayafter C Hall went off he should have changed it too that system so yes there be times its needed and times it will not all depends on how the games going .

A Vale fan who attended the game yesterday was taken ill at half time and passed away today R.I.P.fellow Valiant .

Vale always be in our hearts no matter how sad they make us

All i will say is i hope its not deliberate this .

Yes players dislike Moore as much as you want but never take it out on support

Carol well you dont seem too listen too the support

Maybe you should

Moore out ASAP

Was just about to come on and post this. What an absolute disgrace. This is malpractice from Carol and the board and they are actively harming the club.

I’m at the point now where I want us to get spanked at Huddersfield if it means he’s sacked. I’m talking a good 5/6 - 0 hiding. We’ll be better off in the long term.

Why do you think getting spanked at Huddersfield means he will get sacked?

The worst thing is it is taking this p1ss out of some very loyal and caring supporters. People who support the club with their hard earned cash, through thick and thin. They/we do not deserve to be treated like this.

If you offered me a 6-0 spanking and a guarantee he was sacked that evening, I would snap your hand off.  That way we would only be sacrificing 1 game, not an entire season.

We’ve already sacrificed a whole season I’m afraid

They aren’t going to sack him, at all.

They’ve sunk far too much of their ego and credibility into him getting this right. To sack him now would be an admission that a) they were wrong, b) the fans were right, and c) for the second time in three seasons the fans were were wrongly ignored.

They're in a bad situation now where a sacking actually undermines their own position. They’ll ride this out and pray Moore transforms things, and if not we’ll all get to enjoy cost-cutting in the summer with the insinuation that ‘abuse’ (which is what they call valid criticism) is at fault.

I imagine there will be a latent accusation that we didn’t get behind Moore enough for him to succeed and the atmosphere fed into the players.

This will all somehow end up being our fault, I guarantee. To sack him now would be a major admission of failure.

People can say what they want about Cole but he’s just another Ellis Harrison.
Got his contract. Hit the ground running and now looks dreadful.
A massive downgrade on Tolaj, not a young player so no improvement to come, never been prolific, and in my opinion an overpaid waste of a signing.

I see why you say that - the jury’s out for me.

Thought he got involved plenty yesterday personally, but I think he’s been badly let down by what’s around him. He made that lung busting run 2nd half from inside our half and was crowded out by 4 of them on their penalty area with nobody bothering to get up in support. And sticking him on the wing to me and absolutely criminal.

Yesterday was exactly like the Wycombe game. A team a with a defined pattern of play - which occasionally means going back and sideways but always with the intent of going forward - moving the ball quickly not slowly and looking like every pass is scuffed and/or telegraphed - and with dangerous wide players. The No 17 was really good I thought.

Once again, I enjoyed watching the opposition more than my own team. That’s not to say they were world beaters - they weren’t exactly watertight at the back (but nobody needs to be against us) - but just had a plan and identity. Simple.

I literally can’t remember the last Vale team that played with pace, moved the ball quickly and had pacy wide players.

Just mostly boring, attritional garbage (and I count some of Clarke’s teams in that).

Maybe an Askey team??

Maybe they should put an offer in to buy the club if they can do better?

What is also quite galling is all of these performative measures at communication (monthly videos, that supporters working group thing, going on podcasts) are mere facades to pretend they’re listening. Potemkin lines of communication.

We have never been listened to and continue to be ignored. When it comes to the big stuff we’re completely dismissed.

Sorry, you can’t hold a view on football unless you’ve played professionally yourself. Shut the forum down Rob.

It’s this elitist view that gets Carol into a right old mess every other year.

It’s so, so avoidable if she just tried to like and respect the views of normal Vale fans a bit more.

She closets herself in hospitality with her mates and colleagues from Synectics, comes up with slogans like “patience is a superpower”, and they all talk themselves into believing it. One honest conversation with a proper ST holder would dispel the entire edifice of nonsense.
