You say it’s not easy for the fans to pay 100 quid to go Huddersfield.
I would say it’s stupidity. They have a choice.
We know the outcome of the game already. So why waste that money this time of year and be away from family.

Each to their own.

Ok then , any away game . Fans are loyal. Huddersfield will probably be waste of money . They may go to have a chant of Darren Moore , your football is <ovf censored> , along with the home fans, or to get away from family after Christmas .

Sorry, you can’t hold a view on football unless you’ve played professionally yourself. Shut the forum down Rob.

It’s this elitist view that gets Carol into a right old mess every other year.

It’s so, so avoidable if she just tried to like and respect the views of normal Vale fans a bit more.

She closets herself in hospitality with her mates and colleagues from Synectics, comes up with slogans like “patience is a superpower”, and they all talk themselves into believing it. One honest conversation with a proper ST holder would dispel the entire edifice of nonsense.

I really have never known a business to have such a disdain for one of its major stakeholders.

I was thinking last night, “Darren Moore, get out of our club” might be slightly more powerful. That’s if Carol and her Superpower are actually listening.

I think it's unrealistic to refer to Carol's investment in the club as 'loans'.  She is deciding how she wants to spend the loans, and how much she loans.  If she does that badly, she should have no expectation of getting that money back.

She's living her dream of owning a professional football club, and she pays the price.  More so if she does it badly.

If she were to sell the club, clearly she would not get her money back.

It’s just an accounting treatment thing.

Devante played at a much higher level than Uche (aside from an unconvincing stint with Boro) and isn’t crocked like he was. The facts are, Tolaj’s highest level until this season was league 2. Devante has never even played in league 2, let alone non league like Tolaj.

Devante is certainly not a league 2 player, we have a lot of those, but he isn’t one of them.

You see, that’s a blatant lie.
Devante has never ever played at a much higher level than Uche. So do your homework.

The highest they have both played in is the championship.
And if you want the stats…

Uche in the championship. Played 64 and scored 9.

Dveante in the Championship. Played 38 scored 1.

Why would he stay  at Vale if Plymouth were offering more money? May prefer to live down South?

I was referring to the summer why was a deal not sorted in the summer? Every man an his dog knew he was going to eventually play championship football because he’s a good footballer. 1.2m was a joke and yes it’s got nothing to do with why were in this mess but that’s just another kick in the teeth by people that run this football club!

Like I said. Each to their own. If you can afford 100 quid or so to chant and get angry to an owner who isn’t listening then good on you.
I just think it’s sheer stupidity and anyone outside of their “love” for the the club would think likewise.

It's easy sitting on the Internet giving opinions, without being privvy to the ins and outs of things like the contents of Darren Moore's contract, and clubs detailed finances.
Loaning millions of pounds, and running a business without expecting anything in return is entirely different.
Mistakes have been made by the clubs owners, but some of the comments are now turning a bit sour.
If I was Carol I would personally sell up and give someone else a go because I imagine it's not even worth it for her anymore.
But finding a buyer won't necessarily be easy, and finding one willing to pay back loans, and who genuinely has the clubs best interests at heart is even less likely.
I never get this attitude. We shouldn't be beholden to Carol and agree with everything she does just because she has thrown away a lot of her own money. That's her decision and her fault to waste it.

Combined, we as fans have invested 100s of times more into the club than Carol ever will. Just because we don't have her personal wealth does not mean we have to withhold our opinion.

I run my own business, so I do understand what does and does not work. Just because my business isn't as big as Synectics, does that make my opinion less valid.

If they've given Moore a contract they can't afford to get out of, that's their fault. If they continue to back Moore and we get relegated, that's their fault. If they lose the goodwill of fans, that's their fault. If the club loses more money, that's their fault.

Once again, the arrogance is startling. Combined, we as supporters have millions of hours of football under our belts. We know when a manager isn’t up to it. We've made it clear to the club several weeks ago. They did this 2 years ago and claimed that lessons were learnt...they know better than us apparently.

WOW this is quite frankly embarrassing and totally unacceptable that DM isn't under any pressure.

Boycott the club. Only way.

My Albion mates when we signed him said that I could score more than Cole

Cole made his reputation at Barnsley in L1 22/23,23/24.  34 goals/102 games, apart from that slim pickings.  How he was used I don't now.

In your opinion .

5 -0 v Barnsley is our best all round performance going forwards this season is it not

Faal was holding ball up creating space for others and was all round terrific and we scored 5 goals ,Faal was in Coles position .

Is this true ,or did i imagine us putting 5 in with the player who cannot put one foot in front of other .

Anyway we bottom of league not like we dont need score goals

Lets play for a 0-0 at home at best with Cole shining in what way well im waiting see it .

Change it

Sweet Jesus do you really think Barnsley tried in that game?? Look at the goals a the players that scored them a you’ve just said faal was like faaldinho 🤣🤣🤣🤣 not a chance he’s a footballer.

I get your main point but he has scored at home v Orient and Mansfield.

So 2 of the 3 games out of our 10 homes in which we have actually notched he has scored.

But I agree unless he scores he can look anonymous.

I stand by what I've said before that he's a 6 yard box predator with not much of a general game about him.

Cole is the least of our worries. We have a squad with no goals in it other than him.

League goals for Vale here, not counting tier 9 or whatever or the reserve Cup.

Walters zero, Heneghan zero. Paton 2, Waine 1, Byers maybe 2 at most. Clark 1, John zero, ojo maybe 2 or 3 at most. Debrah maybe 2 at most. These are all guesstimates.

Virtually none of the team contribute goals.

Curtis and Stockley can, but are sent to Coventry. Croasdale gets more than the rest of the midfield put together.

This was as clear as day earlier in the season that none of our midfield or defence chip in with anything.

Cole is not Tolaj. We have possibly lost one of the best players in the division.

Get the ball in the danger zone and Cole will notch a few. He's no use scrapping for balls 30 yards out.

I can't accept him as a possible scapegoat when we have horrendous players who can't even keep the football on the pitch.

Weve had too many years where the whole set up of our squad has had zero goals, not just this season. its as if we need a 30 goal a season number 9 to have any chance of success.

Maybe last year was our season of luck. Big possibility because many performances were poor , even the wins.
