I thought Cole was lazy for big chunks of the game, no movement at all off the ball, then at times he worked his socks off especially when moved to the left wing. Can’t put it down to fatigue because it was probably the last 20 minutes he worked the hardest. Overall I think he had a poor game.

I watched a different game mate.

Not followed everything on the thread, but one particularly question for me highlighted the fact that we literally have not learnt a thing in the last 2 years……

………who is worse, Ryan Loft or Mo Faal.

If we even feel the need to to ask that question then we are going down.

Talking about peculiar what’s the deal with Shipley?

Has more L1 experience than most in the squad yet has been bombed.

Another Moore managerial masterclass.

He was surplus to requirements at relegated Shrewsbury, was a strange purchase when we were already overloaded with midfielders.

Yep…..for the final 20 minutes of the first half I don’t think he broke sweat. But he did work really hard for the final 20 minutes of the game.

I think Faal has more ability than Loft but at least Loft gave it an effort. Biggest difference is we had no one else other than Loft so had to play him sometimes, we have plenty of options other than Faal yet he still gets plenty of game time

Is it true that the absolute goal machine that is Devante Cole has a three-year contract at the Vale.

I've got zero faith in Darren Moore

I wouldn't trust him to run a bath 🛁

He’d trip over his own kegs if his lady didn’t put them on for him.

I got laughed at but the very beginning of the season to suggest we had a relegation midfield with Ojo,Garrity & Shipley.

I’m not saying he’s the best thing since sliced bread but he can at least pass a ball and gives balance with a left foot.

Our midfield squad has numbers, Byers aside it’s a poor group.

I find it ridiculous he can’t get a game with Byers and Ojo missing. He’s barely made a matchday all season.

What it the player does not want to re-negotiate his contract?

Aup were here! If it involves a pay rise fosse69 a think every player would negotiate a new contract no questions asked footballers 99 percent are money orientated like the way of the world.

it is okay to say the football club is failing you know.

And your point is? To answer  your question, I haven't a bleeding clue, have you? But that doesn't detract from the fact that in any negotiation a business should be mindful of what's best for that business and clearlyin Tolaj's case the contract appearsto have favoured him and not PV!

What is the point of the discussion? We bought a player, he got us promotion, we got more for him than we paid for him, we settled on his min transfer fee as part of his contract. Pity we did not sign more players like him.

Why would he stay  at Vale if Plymouth were offering more money? May prefer to live down South?

The point of the discussion is to go back to the thrust of my original comment that had the club been more business-savvy, we would still have a player who can score goals (and I suspect even you can't disagree that we are missing that this season) and would be therefore more valuable in terms of points he would have helped us to accrue and also undoubtedly be worth a darned more than £1.2 million.  It's called good business and the club for whatever reason failed in this instance!

You cant change history.  End of discussion.

I wish someone would tell me why 'he is a lovely guy' because I don't see it, just like 95% of those who have employment through football he appears to be a self centered, selfish, greedy mercenary.

In my time I have interviewed hundreds of employers and one thing I have noticed in successful (non public businesses) tend to have directors who look after the employees and not much staff turnover.

I am sure Carol in her previous business fell into that category, the problem is which has been said many times is that football is completely different.

I think Carol thought she could change football to her values, which I think she now knows she can't.

She was burned by Fraudcroft and believed it would be different under Moore. Unfortunately she has been burned again by this man.

It is quite clearly Moore (as from Day 1 when he got himself a 5 year contract), has been playing the club and her.

I don't see he is not a nice bloke and doesn't fit within the 5%. Please prove me wrong.

Very much wrote that from Carol's perceptive , as I see it. Definitely of the opinion that Carol thinks he is a lovely guy. Something I read once is that people appoint people who are like them so when the change is eventually made fully expect Carol to appoint another lovely guy.

Manager can be a lovely bloke as long as his team will run through a brick wall for him, the fans and the badge.

Rudge was the nicest of the lot but my god was he a bloody good managers!
