Match Thread - Port Vale v Plymouth Argyle

If he’s in charge at Lincoln,  Carol will have fully lost me - and I’m one of her more vociferous fans.

I’ll completely lose faith in her judgement. Praying it’s going to be a Monday morning sacking at this rate.

He got nothing but support and encouragement while he was here and he’s treated us with arrogance and contempt.

How dodgy is that?

He rocked up in a beaten up old hatch back and drove off in top end suv with blacked windows. That's what Vale done for him.

We carried him on our shoulders down Boslem.

He has shown zero thanks or respect for us putting him where he is now.

No class, no respect. Fk him 👍

No evidence other than was told a few things from someone in the club, not about all these below but about a couple on the list, but I reckon quite a few below have had strong disagreements with Moore and his team

  • Ojo
  • Smith
  • Benicio
  • Paton
  • Ripley
  • Walters
  • Chislett
  • Byers
  • Plant

Some may say a manager is bang on to drop players with attitudes but that’s a lot of players in 2 seasons to be dropped out of the squad.

Ojo: history of falling out with everyone

Smith: time out because of serious illness of one of his children

Ripley: clear attitude problems

Walters: 90% of fan base confused when we resigned him due to attitude problems let’s not forget one of the biggest Moore out posters hoped he would break his leg at the time

Chislett: attitude problems at new club

Byers: pure conjecture

Plant: no idea, not a big loss either way

we can all agree Moore should probably go based on results but all this nonsense is unnecessary.

It does matter though. When you’re sticking players like Curtis at wing back. Or even worse a natural goalscorer in Cole to lw. Useless manager

Half the team is playing out of position, we're handicapped before we kick off.

I’m hoping Carol gives it the weekend to be sure, then calls him in to her office on Monday. It has to be done, there are very few who will disagree,

What does she need to be sure about? If we sack him we literally can't be in a worse position. Even a single goal under a caretaker manager against Lincoln would be an improvement.

What? She needs the weekend to be sure? Why would she need to wait after four months of the dross we’ve had to put up with and the bills that have landed on her desk?

Indecision like that, if true, would becthe death of us.

Come on, Carol, after all you’ve done, dunner let us dine.

As you say he did get support and encouragement from us perhaps because we relied on him too much. I struggled to comprehend the abuse he received from those around me. Football is football players move on the club makes a profit and we exist or use the money to improve ourselves. Fans were chanting greedy b*+*+*d, amongst other derogatory chants. Then I’d hear them saying they’d have done the same if they were in his shoes. Perhaps he thinks he deserved more respect and I would agree with him. Anyway let’s move on to the next game, we’ve got big problems that don’t involve LT

I have just seen the goal on someone's vlog and I reckon Gauci will be very disappointed that he hasn't saved that as he has got a massive hand on it and it has trickled into the net. Actually the shot was straight at him so he definitely should have saved it I'm afraid.

Another reason to hate Australians today! 😉

Just seen Haaland effort against Newcastle....has he heard we are in for him 🤔. He will never make anything.

Genuinely think an announcement this evening would be/ have been best for the whole club.

I dunno whether go for a spa, a hummus and chickpea wrap and watch Foyles war after that.

Hummus is chickpeas. That’s the wrap equivalent of Moore’s football: only 2 ingredients, doing the same thing and offering no flavour.

I would imagine if a decision is to be made they will probably spend a bit of time getting a process in place for the interim. I'd really hope for the right decision but I can only see even more time being given - I don't think the leadership at the club have learned their lessons from the last 3 managers.

Doing their contingency planning now, if that’s true, would be mind-boggling. Any half-baked business given the trouble we’re in, propping up the League no less, would already have had contingency plans in place. Just hoping you’re wrong!

I know that's why I said it. It was just a mickey take of Dipepa I was that bored by the inane drivel .

Now down to 2 of 6 wingbacks with Johnson out. We are never ever going to score enough goals with a formation that requires a ball-carrying midfielder if no players are capable of / willing to carry the ball.

Radio Stoke just said as they understand it there is no immediate threat to Moore's job as the club tries to turn things around
