If that’s true, then the club is deluded beyond belief.

If he stays, things will quickly turn toxic - everyone’s had enough and can see how hopeless Moore is. Carol has done wonders for us but her grasp of football management and her judgement are seriously at risk. All she’ll do is put us in a worse position, alienate the fan base and lose her hard-earned credibility. Not to mention getting us relegated.

After the last four months, how on earth does she think he can turn it around?

Someone in the club needs to get a grip and make the hard decisions to get us out of this mess.

Honestly if it was any other manager in this position they would have been sacked and I'm sorry but he remains in charge we will be well and truly going down with a whimper.

I don't think many people are actually asking for her to step down.  Just do the only sensible thing left and relieve Mr moore of his duties before it's to late.

If she doesn’t sack him I will be of the view she should delegate football decision making to a football expert.

Fair enough,  I have no problem with that 👍

I do. She's made her money, now wants to do some good. I don't mean that in a disparaging way but there is a focus and attention on the philanthropy that has garnered her rewards (and I refuse to believe anybody does things for altruistic reasons).

As for the stewardship of the club side, done largely a good job. Gates are very good, considering we are rock bottom and 6,500 Vale fans were there today. But I remember the days of less than 5K, and they are not days I want to see the club go back to.

There has to be change before many of the pay on the gate fans stop coming.

Yes I get that bit, but if I’d spent that much I want it to be impactful - that’s the neglected element.

The owners have got to come out and say whether they are backing him or sacking him after this.

They are backing him.

I think we should leave it until we haven’t scored in 10 league games. That makes sense

Radio Stoke just said as they understand it there is no immediate threat to Moore's job as the club tries to turn things around

Is Frank Spencer running the club?

Usually when a club is in awful form and backs the manager they end up getting sacked a few games later.

Its the age old question of is there any such thing as a good selfless deed

I was a lecturer for a good few years, I also spend my working days helping the people I work with as much as I can because I love helping people - but by doing that am I being selfish because I am making myself happy?

What am I going on about - this is your fault NW9 😂😂😂😂😂

A genuine disgrace. Carol’s completely lost me tonight.

If we go down again this is a permanent stain on her record, and I will genuinely find it difficult to believe there isn’t someone capable of making more sensible decisions out there.

That's a bit miserable.

I dont even want to see a post match interview . He shouldn't even be allowed back in the dressing room

Neither should some of those players.

Its Auntie Carols money - she can do what she likes - as can we - stay or vote with our feet.

But she is the best thing to ever have happened to this club, and for that alone she will always get my support - even if we are in the midlands premier league - better that than no club at all
