    Absolutely delighted for Paton. I thought after his loan spell his vale time might have been up. But that man's work ethic , passion and desire to play football every week is outstanding. Even post match interviews you can tell what it means to him. I don't think I've ever rooted more for a player. The man oozes passion.

    Massive relief to finally get that first league win. 

    Cole being brought in to do exactly what was needed. Goals

    I wasn't a doubter of Patons,I want every player to do well in a Vale shirt

    My thing was that I didn't get all the hype on here last season and he had a fair bit to prove to me but i wanted him to do that and lets be honest he is and he is now taking his chance just like Tolaj did last season,Paton is a very clever footballer and he is now bringing goals as well,if he sticks hard at it and continues to take his chance then I have no doubt he could also bring us some money at some point,he loves football and that is massive

    Lovely interview with Ruari on PVTV. Mentioned his preseason involved him hitting the stairmaster. Can definitely co-sign that as it will get you good in no time.

    Need to get this backed up at home to Mansfield now. If we are to have a comfortable season we need to start winning at home.

    Isn’t that 2 goals 2 assists for ruari in last 3 games. Clearly more than just a poacher. Today’s assist was mint. DC still had a lot to do but from 25 yards out he never looked like missing. Guess that’s what you pay the money for.  UTV.

    Add that to Coles 2 goals and 1 assist in his 2 games its looking very good especially when they fully click together

    DM has an unenviable job picking a team each week but hopefully in 4/5 games time with a bit less rotation and a couple more wins we will start to see some really good stuff from Vale. Today wasn’t pretty after some of the performances of late, but it’s a results business and I’d take 20 scrappy two nils this season all day long.
