Great win today. I wasn't able to follow things very closely as I am away in europe on my motorbike holiday, but am now catching up. How many SVA were at the game? It was very interesting reading what supporters do in terms of travelling down the day before and stopping overnight Friday or travelling on the day and stopping over Saturday night, which for this match gives the perfect opportunity to celebrate the win and 3 points. I used to follow the Vale everywhere but for some reason although I am now retired I never have the time to do so, or very rarely anyway. Fingers crossed that today will kick-start our season.

I don't think that Moore sees a best 11 from his squad, more like a best 11 per game and depending what the opposition is. Even with a fully fit squad and if we were on a good run I still think he'd change it up depending on who we're playing. Sometimes it works a treat, other times it doesn't. But he's always got a plan.

Great result today, great finish from Cole, pace, strength, composure and a refreshed and new Paton. Crack on!

I understand that, but my question was really to remove all of the context and just say, forget about the opposition, put out your strongest 11 if everyone is fit.  Yes it's rhetorical, and I'm not really expecting an answer.  That didn't stop me wondering though.

First of many, that! Get in!

I probably have a bit of late to be fair. I'll hold my hands up to that.

Where are all the posters congratulating DM and his players on todays 3 points and text book away performance?

They will be back with the next defeat, there is no doubt about that telling us how crap everyone is and how DM cant manage in this league and needs to go.

I am all for differing opinions on here because that's how it should be but some people's agenda's whether they truly are Vale fans or not are just becoming a bit pathetic really

I must have missed the bit where he said they were beaten by a better side 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Their fans aren't happy with him at all especially where he laid some of the blame on to the fans in the stands

I lose my head from time to time but am also here for the highs aswel. As any fan would be. The select few who come out only when times are bad I think reflects on them. They need something to moan at. They need doom and gloom.

Classic away tactics, an early goal to silence the home fans. Well done Vale.

I think you are right on how Moore thinks there but i do really hope he sticks with Paton and Cole as his front two because we know there are goals there and the good thing is we have Brown,Faal and Waine who i do think can be very effective coming off the bench when defences are tiring
