Evening Vale fans!  Really enjoyed that today and great to come on here and read some/mostly positive comments.

Puts us right back in the mix for the automatics.

Great to see others tripping and stumbling in the top 7 places at times too.

p.s. Darren great to bump into you mucker. 👍

I don’t understand this ‘ we don’t look like a top 3 team ‘ stuff. Walsall haven’t won in 5 games. Bradford have dropped points recently & lost today albeit they were on a great run beforehand. And Doncaster who were 3rd before kick off today are really up & down. Nobody is exactly the stand out & it seems most of the top 1-9 are feeling the pressure of late. Colchester on a roll but will likely have a hiccup at some point along the way. Like you said last week we just need to get a few wins together. Perfect opportunity with Morecambe & Barrow to come next on home soil. Be interesting to see what a ‘ top 3 team ‘ looks like 🤷‍♂️

If we keep Byers,Garrity & Stockley fit between now and the end of the season we have a decent chance. We have to beat Morecbe and Barrow to set us up for a big week which will probably dictate if we finish autos or not.

Garrity fit and available was really big shot in the arm today. I didn’t expect we would see him until mid April so that really gives me renewed hope, more than anything.

I find it incredible how Bradford have had a game to go top of the league for past 2 matches and blown it. Shows the pressure is starting to crank up on everyone and how close or crap teams are and how every team in the league are reliant on a core 4-5 players to be free from injuries and suspensions to be successful.

It gets more and more difficult to win matches at this time of the year and who can handle the pressure, we at least have a manager who has the experience in this situation.

Tough trio of games after these next 2 at home. 3 wins on the spin should have us flying into them with confidence whilst at the same time they’ll be feeling a tad worried about us. KTF

People keep saying they are a tough three games - yes they are/will be.

But Crewe, Walsall and Bradford won't be looking forward to playing us either, especially if we can pick up 6 points from our next two home games.

Also, looking at how the league is shaping up I'm confident each of those teams will be trying to win and that will suit us down to the ground.

More so because of the importance. But agreed, and we tend to turn up against the so called bigger teams 👍🏻

Jeez! Beckford doesn't look too capable of leaping to flick on any Mills corners for Robbie to nod in, to repeat the famous MBE combination!

(good on yer, Darren - your repeated 20+ goals for us mean you deserve a "quality" lifestyle! 😄)

Some fans are absolute... what??!?!? What kind of term is that to use... you should both apologise for using that word and feel ashamed of yourself...in our family we have someone who has extreme learning difficulties, that word was used by them to mock him by ignorant bullies for a laugh... think about it.

My sincere apologies @Aguar61 if that offended you.

I will use brain dead next time which is what that word means to me and not people with learning difficulties.

Wording changed on post.

Still wince at Hazel's sliding tackle at Southport. He was a beast.

Haha. I can still vividly remember watching that from the away end behind the goal at the far side of the ground.

You could see it coming a good 5 seconds beforehand, as big Bob chugged his way across the pitch to scythe down their guy on the touchline!

Great tackle! 😆

It’s great to see the club embracing heroes of yester year…. It was long overdue.

It would be nice if we could see some of them on to the pitch at halftime or even before the game as Honourary Captains for the coin toss before the kickoff like you see in the NFL.
