Few people quite noticeable with their absence on this thread. 🤔

outstanding result and performance yesterday. Just what we needed. Key players back to fitness and back in form at the business end of the season.

It’s in our own hands. We can do this.

Those missing people may be catching up on sleep 😁

Just looked up rivals fixtures next weekend is an huge opportunity. 3 points is an absolute must for us.

Notts v Crewe

Dons v Barrow

Bradford v Colchester

Gillingham v Walsall

Salford v Donny

Personally I'd be tempted to play Walters/Croasdale in midfield and push Garrity further up the pitch. Bring Byers on at 60'

I guess it depends if DM sticks with three up top which I think he should do at least for the home games after yesterdays performances curtis tolaj and stockley were excellent two of them  scored and the other created two. Three up top only leaves room for two centre midfielders from a list of garrity croasdale byers harper and walters and I dont see walters in the top two from that list.

Away from home I can see dm reverting to two up top and three centre mids but I still think byers is a better player than walters.

That said I'm not remotely confident that I can accurately predict what DM will or wont do, we all know his mind works in mysterious ways. He is just as likely to play sang and harper just to confuse us 😂

I agree with you but would just note that Salford City v Doncaster Rovers has been postponed because Doncaster have had three players called up for international duty.

I think that postponement actually works better for us if we beat Morecambe. Ramps up the pressure on Donny a tad more

Has it really? Wow

That would allow us to put more pressure on them playing 2 games (hopefully 6 points)before they play again.

Can't see him playing three up top away from home. I can see him starting Garrity from now on (quite rightly), and that means sacrificing a forward or a midfielder.

At home I think it means Walters drops out, away I think Curtis gets shoved out with Tolaj and Stockley up front.

Agreed, horses for courses.

Sadly DM be castigated either way he goes.

But it would be madness to go Crewe,Walsall and Wimbledon away with 3 up top.

Doncaster are a good side up there on merit.

Their run In is horrendous.

5 homes are

Carlisle, Walsall, Wimbledon, Colchester, Bradford

4 aways

Cheltenham, Tranmere, Notts County and Salford to be rearranged.

Agreed, but against clubs at the bottom? Score first and pile the pressure on them.

My mate who I watched it with was going crazy at the ref when this happened. Shouting all sorts of abuse at him, absolutely raging! I said leave him to it we are winning 😂 ffs I don’t understand why he had a problem with it hahahahaha. He’s another who just finds bizarre things to whinge about 🤦‍♂️

Isn't there a rule about goalies can only keep ball in their hands for so long. Not sure what the penalty is, booking , or free kick the other way ? Appreciate when you are ahead they are wasting their own time but if it's a free kick then worth moaning about.

Is it an indirect free kick? Could be wrong, I know from next season they are changing it to a corner for the opposition side

I don't think Garrity's best position isn't in central midfield, he needs to be further up the pitch. We want him on the end of passes, getting flick-ons from Stockley and Tolaj, not sitting deep in midfield. Have him run himself to death then bring on Curtis in the second half.

Honestly I wish DM would stop playing 5 at the back and put the extra CB into midfield so we could play a central 3 of Byers, Croasdale and Walters. Perfect blend of defense, passing and ball carrying IMO. But if that doesn't happen, I still think Walters has earned another start, we've been dying for someone that will actually take their man on and be direct without immediately losing the ball.
