Much better today actually felt like a promotion push. Sorry sponsors but Walters was MOM.

I’d say John was motm, although walters was good as was Clark.

Come on spill the beans.

Still wince at Hazel's sliding tackle at Southport. He was a beast.

100% you do not attend any games

Not going to get a reaction. What was wrong with the comment? Harper has been very poor and Walters impressive. Same as at half time, did you not think Dons were a poor side?

Not that I need to explain myself to you, but I don’t go as much as I used to. I used to go home and away without fail. I have a young kid and can’t always commit to vale games. Been to 12 this season (more away than home, partly being busy and partly because we’re so poor to watch) and watch the majority of the rest on my dodgy box or out with the family if not. Call me a fake fan or what ever not arsed.

That’s one of my favourite games. I ended up on  Match of the Day that night

Understandable after recent performances & results. I think a lot of people felt the same myself included. The table doesn’t lie though mate, we’re right in it. Need to follow this up now & win next weekend against Morecambe by whatever means possible. I’d take a 1-0 right now but another convincing win would be great for morale

Sjokes last 3 games are sheff wed, Leeds, sheff utd 🤣🤣🤣

I wonder has the Blaster got any chance of being fit for then? That bloke would have free reach arounds for life across the north of the city if he was the one to send them down.

Who's better for that starting spot in our promotion push than Walters? If you sincerely think the answer to that question is Rekeem Harper I do think you're crazy

I haven't said Rekeem Harper is the answer to start in the promotion push, you're crazy and very disingenuous for saying something like that.

I've consistently said the answer in midfield is the combination of players that plays the best together, are the best unit.

We've won today 3-0 against toothless opposition who hadn't got much, if any, bite in midfield, didn't play with a press, a much sterner test will come for Vale and Rhys when we play a much more aggressive, direct team and the game becomes more of a scrap.

Wouldn’t have made them subs personally. Walters has got better as the game has gone on and clearly wouldn’t bring Umolo on.  Let’s see if he can at least press like Stockley

Walters got through a huge amount of work, and was clearly running out of steam. Spot on substitution. Also, Stockley is a long way from fit.

sorry if this comes across as mansplaining

I thought Walters was getting better.
Stockley coming off was correct, I would have bought Garrity on though. Can’t complain though, Jerry came on and did alright so all good.

1 shot on target

To be fair Stoke looked the better team throughout and that was never a penalty!

Just over 7/1 Stoke relegation,Vale promotion with William Hill. tempting!!
