Sjoke only a point above relegation zone.  Oh my weekend has just got sooooooooooooo much better.

Well done Vale players, DM & Co for unleashing them and letting them attack.

All well and good but my problem with DM continually bringing Jerry on is that when matches are close his inexperience is going to cost us. We are in a promotion fight and NOT a development team for other people’s players. We need to be ruthless in our selection and subs.

Played a key role in getting a third today though. I know what you're saying, and overall I don't disagree. I just thought he did fine today. It's a lot better withdrawing Stockley for him when two up rather than one.

In other news, with the 💩 losing and Cardiff and Derby both winning the bottom of the championship is looking quite interesting.

Bradford City 0 - 1 Tranmere Rovers

Tranmere held on for the win after 18 minutes of extra time.

Well done, Andy, and thank you

Surely he's gonna get the job full-time there.

Hope he does, wish him nothing but well. Probably need a longer time for him to state his case. If he is successful there what a damning indictment of Flitcroft that would be.

Walters not ready 🤔 he’s running the midfield at times. A delight to watch when he’s in his rhythm. Making my eyes light up 😂

What do you mean, "At times", he's either running the midfield or he isn't, you don't sound too confident yourself in what you're posting.

He's had some very nice touches just like on Tuesday but he's not running the midfield, too easily knocked off the ball and too easily brushed past.

As I said in my original post he will be a very good player for Vale in the future but IMHO he's not a starter in a team pushing for promo at the business end of the season.

None of Vale's goals today involved Walters in the play.

I will admit I was slightly concerned at half time that we had created so many chances and missed most of them and I thought if we sit back second half we could pay but credit to them they continued on the front foot and got the second goal. I think the faffing about with the referee nearly cost us because mk changed formation and we lost our momentum then DM brought umolu on and we lost the ability to make the ball stick up top which led to us being forced back for a while but we kept our shape then captain ben produced a wonderful moment to put the game to bed. Phew! Nice to finally put a bit on the goal difference and nice to get back to winning ways to give us some hope again.

I haven't been a fan of walters but I admit he played very well today. I haven't been a fan of umolu either and I still aren't he is terrible. 😂

Byers is still misfiring for me but Tolaj Stockley, Curtis, Clarke and John were superb as were the there centre backs.

I'd keep the same line up in the next game apart from garrity in for byers and chizzie to take umolu's spot on the bench.

From DM on Radio Stoke Sang missed out due to a slight issue with his hamstring and Smith he just chose to go with Heneghan and to be fair I thought he did a nice job.

If there are people on here still unwilling to get behind Walters after the last few games they are idiots imo.

Sometimes a condition of his loan agreement is to give him time on the pitch.

Will someone ask the management what does Jerry do to get on the bench let alone on the pitch.is it financial???

He fed the ball which eventually led to Bens goal. It was a cracking ball aswell. He needs to get stuck in tho and stop shying out of tackles and challenges

Better 2nd half. Lovely goal from Stockley, didn’t see Ben’s as I’d left. Walters I thought looked decent, John really good, likewise Curtis. I maintain we weren’t great before the 1st goal, but can’t grumble at 3-0. The division is incredibly tight. Still don’t think we’re top-3 material would be dearly like to be proved wrong.
