As I said in my original post he will be a very good player for Vale in the future but IMHO he's not a starter in a team pushing for promo at the business end of the season.

None of Vale's goals today involved Walters in the play.

He is in his infancy in his career he will make mistakes but he is quality

Wouldn’t surprise me if we do really well up until then. Play some great football, pick up some wins and then play utterly putrid at Walsall. Happens every time

Certainly don’t think you’re an idiot at all Paul and respect what you say I just vehemently disagree with you on Walters. He provided us some go forward with the ball in midfield. It’s been nice to see someone in the middle willing to try and beat his man, adds a whole new dimension to our play and he showed a nice passing range. Not sure what’s not to like today.

He was fantastic today 👏🏻 and last game, he’s not put a foot wrong since he come into the side. Undroppable for me at the minute 

So I said to nephew leave 2 mins before end of game when left 97 mins gone lol and it seems a missed the best goal of game 

Good win today defensively solid no mither and had Curtis for me he was man of the match is workrate 10 ,his ball in for Stockley 9.8 and overall he never stopped

Mk passed it nice but apart from thst header what hit bar I cannot recall apart from a blast straight at Amos nothing for Amos do .

Ben Garrity back is brilliant .

Shame we didn't carry on attacking at 2:-0 ok we scored a third but they looked ripe for a thrashing .

Which is what happens when you give a class player a run of games. DM should have done the same with Chizzy who’s never had a proper chance to cement his place in the side. Maybe then we’d have turned a few of our many draws into wins.

I say Stockley MotM....absolutely unbeatable in the air and he sets up everything with his hold up play. Our entire style of play is based around the guy.

 

I think this is something people are missing about the Umolu subs, we're trying to get him up to speed so we can sub him in for Stockley and not have to change our tactics too much. He's the only striker on the team with the potential to play that target forward role.

Jezza wasn’t too bad when he came on. He’s got a decent pass on him as I’ve seen him do it a few times now. Just can’t be firing it in the air to the lad as he’s one of those though he has a decent size to him he can’t jump at all.
