Darrell Clarke.

Great man him.

I think Micky was a better manager

Micky got us promoted more or less while we were in admin and the fat blue one wanted to reward him by reducing his salary # smurthwaite was an absolute c##t

Heneghan was fine what are you on about? He’s far more aerially dominant than Smith so for me if I’m picking someone in the middle I’m going Heneghan every time.

You will always get the Smith lovers wanting him back in .

He will get his chance if Oldham do not take him in January.

When he does its up to him .

Vale are a better side when play 4 across the back .

Cover was quiet today as was R Richards and Stockley was no where near the level he usually is

Complacency setting in deal with it Moore

Just got back in so had time to reflect on the long drive back. Wasn’t much in the game. Debrah dropped an absolute disasterclass and probably deserves to be dropped for next week.

I thought at the time the subs were wrong, and they were. Hackford has been largely anonymous in every game I’ve seen him bar MK. It was the same again, we just couldn’t keep hold of the ball, and we couldn’t get him in behind either. Really don’t understand why he got picked over Tolaj/Paton.

But we were due a loss and realistically neither side deserved to win the game. Onto the next one.

Also - having seen the penalty back. How anyone can see that and say it’s not a penalty is either incredibly biased or deluded. Absolutely stonewall, just as we could see in the ground.

Dunno why Tolaj is on the bench, a complete waste of wages, he needs to start every game. The rotational thing......is it working or have we been lucky? I would rather a settled team with Garrity attacking too.

Poor result and effort. I don't think we are good enough to stay top. Early days, hope I am wrong.

I think you make a good point but I don't think the manager is going to change his mindset he likes his team's to keep it tight to frustrate the opposition and look to nab a goal on the break or from a set piece ,let's see how we go the next few games I'd like see us play more offensively tbh

I would say it's because away fans use pyro and drugs disproportionately more than home fans. The same happens at Vale. Never really bothered me, but I've not got a 9 bar in my handbag.

Sounds like you’re an expert on pyro and drugs, Mellor! 😉

9 bar 😂😂. Long time since I’ve heard that term.

I've just listened to our managers post match interview he said " we weren't at our best and we will learn from our mistakes whatever they maybe but we need to review that in the next few days 🤔 The mistakes were we were too passive and we were looking to eek out a draw instead of going for the jugular and got punished in the end

You couldn't put 2 mins highlights of that game on .

We beat ourselves simple as that.

The ref was on there side blatant push on Grant before there throw in,that's a free kick for us every day of the week for winner, and why would Curtis dive there first half but ultimately if Stockley scores like a player of his quality should do we drag them out and exploit them more .

523 away support is tremendous .

Cannot fault the away following .

Henegan Hall Debrah apart from that one moment of switching off , ,one lapse of concentration were defensively sound Debrah is so uncomfortable on ball It's untrue his passing left a lot to be desired .

There's no way on this earth they deserved win ,Ripley had nowt do all game is kicking was poor today but no need for fan have a go at him if true, hardly is fault we lost ,one lapse of concentration and a ref who shouldn't really ref another game in my opinion.

Finally a great and truthful post absolutely spot on .All the key moments covered.

Stockleys miss, Curtis alleged dive, Blatent push on Grant a foul all day and Jesse's tough day at the office

See you Tuesday

He's extremely slow and extremely limited on the ball. He's everything people always moaned about Smith for but 10x worse.

If we're clinging on to a game, he's a good player to sub on just to head crosses away. Other than that he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team.

OK, I tried.

Off you go now for a little rest.

Hope you soon feel better.

Patronising isn’t your forte Alan.

You’re the Ryan Loft of the forum.

All promise but stink the gaff out.

Nathan Smith is garbage pal.

Move on. Just like he will in January.

Sadly I wouldn’t use the word’garbage’ but he is passed his best and needs to move on and is rarely in the squad so time to move on

What’s with all the Smith bashing now we’ve lost a game. It’s ridiculous, pure venom this place when things don’t go our way. Let’s hope our second string don’t lose in the meaningless cup game on Tuesday in which we’ve already qualified
