A very tough game to have to bounce back in. Gillingham have been on a poor run but still have players who can hurt us. I'd be happy with a point here - although I could see us losing.

As for the team it'll obviously be dictated by injuries, I think something along the lines of:

Ripley

Debrah, Heneghan, Hall

Cover, Garrity (if fit, Harper if not), Croasdale (if fit, Sang if not), Shorrock

Tolaj, Stockley, Curtis

Agree with Granville, a point keeps us ticking over nicely but let's hope we can continue our fantastic away form.

These have lost 6 of last 7 including yesterday and are woefully out of form. Having beat Chesterfield and also like ourselves won at Notts County this is a difficult game though.

First visit here since 1985 so hopefully a good performance to repay the mammoth journey.

Always take a point on the road 👍🏻 We go again Vale 💪🏻

I'd take a point on the road, always, however, i'd love us to go there full of confidence and attack like we did at Newport.

I’d take a point, I fancy us to beat these though with their form and how impressive we were against county, Harrogate and dons away. 0-2 vale. Tolaj and Stockley

Also factor in the 4 teams beneath us play each other.

A win would be humongous.

                            Ripley

        Debrah      Heneghan     Hall

Sang     Croasdale     Cover    Shorrock

                Richards        Curtis

                          Stockley

Amos. Smith. Grant. Harper. Chiz. Paton. Tolaj.

2-0 Rico & Stockley

No doubt on Thursday DM will report on his stage of fitness.

(subject ti fitness)

Bit like Harrogate side - plenty of experience.

Sang is not a left back as proved against Barnsley

That's the right side

In Lake Garda at the minute but will be at Gillingham on Saturday for the first time. Only a couple off the full set.
