    I was saying it long before August. Unfortunately, the club decided to go down a different road and we don't have the opportunity to watch Port Vale under Mark Bonner now which I find quite sad.

    I used to do a mobile disco in a Congleton pub, back in the mid 80s, and the highlight of the evening was Secret Affair's Time for Action - the whole place went berserk!!

    Gillingham fan full of positive anticipation. Taken from their forum.  😂

    Eurgh...it's nearly Saturday and that means Gills are playing again. Joy unconfined. Tomorrow's fixture therefore requires me to waste precious brain space writing this guff and then do my duty by listening in from 3pm when, frankly, I'd rather be doing almost anything else. Oh, and to compound my general Gills-themed misery, we're playing top of the table Port Vale, a side who haven't lost a game in the league since August and have won five on the bounce in the league (and eight of their last 10). How nice for them.

    Actually, the rest of it is quite a good read. But he does go on a bit.
