Think before we sign anyone we need a decision from Moore on how we're going to play.  Once he knows that then he needs to buy the players to play to the chosen system.

People get too excited about transfers this time of year. Most players, managers, agents etc are away on holiday. Then the contracts don't expire until the end of June. Very few transfers percentage wise get done before the end of June.
So pack your bags up. Go away somewhere hot and sunny for a few weeks and chill.
It would be nice though if we did get a bit of business done early for a change.

I dont think he needs to tell us how he wants to play,i guess we will find that out when players start to arrive

I’m pretty sure he will already have made that decision but there’s no need to disclose that to anyone apart from the players mate. Us as fans don’t need to know & I certainly wouldn’t want opposition managers knowing either

There is 0% chance we start the new season with Loft, Dipepa and Uche. Agree with an earlier post that if Uche stays between the penalty boxes and stops going wide he could be a real real handful.

I don't think we should have a set way of playing. We made that mistake last season, recruiting for a possession base and then when we needed to mix it up, we didn’t have the players. We need to be able to mix it up even more in league 2 as there will be more teams that just come to sit in.

I think one of my issues is with all the strikers released. Some we know like Proctor. Others at their age have worn out casters. Finally others were simply never good enough. 

So, key to me here is the second line and particularly Dipepe coming through. I think Uche can be made to work very effectively with them. 

Of course if someone signs up a striker that commands respect then great.

Agree with this, although I don’t ever see Uche banging in 20 goals.  He probably needs someone alongside him, both to help close down defenders when we haven’t got the ball, and to run off him when he’s holding the ball.  The main problem being he still looks raw despite his years in the game.
