Play on the pitch - expressions of interest?

You might have seen the advert Vale out put today re: playing on the Vale Park pitch. It's a lot of money (£1,200 + VAT) but between two teams of 11 - 15 players each it's maybe £50 each. I've been in contact with the club about booking a session (a 6pm one after work for most people) and am at the stage of hopefully agreeing. 

However... before I do, who would be up for it? No definites needed yet, just want to see if there's enough interest so I'm not  massively out of pocket 😬 Also that no one else has had the same idea and doing the same thing!

I'm too old now. Not played 11 aside since 2007 and I was 49 years old then. But back in the 1990's (think) it was good fun to play at Deepdale when PNE had an artificial pitch. Slight issue with fetching the ball back and the floodlights failed on one occasion.

Probably see some better games from the amateurs than we’ve been treated to from the first team.

A lot teams do it. Stoke used to have four x 5 a side pitches for comp in the summer, PNE did, Portly Vale played there.

I played for them once at an away game because they were short of players, I think Errol, old Boomers dad, was playing.

I used to play for then later manage Portly.  It's 15+ years since those days though.

Played on Vale Park once in some charity match - before Clarke had the pitch reduced in size.  It was ridiculous!
