Baylee Dipepa

Hope Baylee is as level-headed as some have said and doesn’t let all this ‘paper talk’ affect his attitude and, more importantly for us at the moment, his form.  He may well have to start tomorrow, with Willo hobbling off on Friday, which may be no bad thing as he and Lofty had some good interchanges against Bristol Rovers and both looked a threat.

7 games in April, so could form a working relationship with careful management of his stamina, and hopefully avoidance of injury. Then onto Cyprus to hone his skills with England U17s

It seems an almost certainty after what he did with England that a PL club will take a chance on him in the summer.

Hopefully he can continue his progress & score the goals to keep us up in the meantime.

Will be interesting to see if he does go what sort of fee we would get for him.

With the money spent by PL clubs, and the fact of his England call up & performances making him one of the top prospects in England at his age group, doesn't seem unreasonable to think we could get a record fee for him, breaking the £2m we got for Ainsworth many years ago.

Sell on clause more important as a possible Bellingham?

Depends what tier team take him on.

If he went to a side outside the top 6, every chance he gets good development time and a chance of a sell on.

The worry with the top tier sides is he could get gobbled up in loan hell and not kick on.

Ideally the best club for him develop at would be a Brighton or Brentford. They have a great track record at developing talent and that would then bring in a good chance of the big sell on. It is a legitimate concern about going to Man Utd but then it’s a chance to maybe one day play for one of if not the biggest clubs in the world.

He's certainly got a swagger about him now. Speaks with a lot of confidence. Also interesting that he has his own cover the eye and point goal celebration thing. Noticed it in some of the England u17 pictures and is also his pic for twitter live feed goals.

Did I read that he has scored about 14 in youth team this season too?

I’ve been really impressed with Dipepa over the past couple of months, and has really progressed since his first start against Fleetwood.

If you are a Premier League club who can throw about money, you’d be mad to not take a punt on a homegrown youngster who’s banging the goals in.

If there is any truth in these rumours I just hope those close to Baylee tell him to stay out work hard and their is plenty of time for àmove to a big club as you are better off getting regular first team action here than boys games at a bigger club.

Not sure but him signing a professional contract may have allowed him to change his training regime.  Possibly now down the gym everyday building his core strength so he’s now not so easily knocked off the ball by ‘grown men’.  Think it was mentioned last season James Plant was a monster in the gym and his strength/fitness improved beyond that of the seasoned pros in the first team to the extent he forced his way into being selected for the the last few games of the season.

He’s come on leaps & bounds of late. Absolutely thriving with confidence. Nobody could turn a move down for him to a huge club I’d like to see him develop even more with us for next season then get some big bucks for him

Problem is what's in the fine detail of his contract? Bid from a premiership club of 100k has to be accepted?

Who knows but no doubt we won't make a killing on the deal as football isn't structured like that.
