Baylee Dipepa

Let's not go crazy.

He's done okay.

17 years old though and we're expecting him to save us from relegation? Very poor from the club.

Would be nice if we could now sell him for a couple of million to fund a L2 title push (plus Carol adding in more to pay for her mistakes).

Careful he’s now the best player in the league. Slated on ere randomly called up  because he’s had a few minutes and now he’s a world beater.

Nothing to do with the current set up. He’s been at vale for 8 years.

So who has been coaching & developing him for the past 3 years? Which regime has provided the pathway to the first team like we have now. Would Baylee have been called up had he not been so active around our first team recently? 100% not. Well done Baylee, well done to the original scouts & well done to the current regime.

The only reason he has been involved is because the squad is so <ovf censored>. It’s nothing to do with his ability. That’s why all the other kids have played. What a load of bollox. Nothing do with the current regime. Unless you mean assembling a squad so <ovf censored> we need to rely on a kid up front is the way to go!

A rare positive this season is the youth players coming through and its a reward for that, Baylee should be developing out on loan really but has done all that can be asked in the situation and this is great for him.

The youngsters coming through is a rare beacon of hope going forward into the next couple of seasons.

The youngsters coming through will probably either be so damaged by being thrown in at the deep end that they never achieve their full potential or be sold for a fraction of their development costs to the first club which enquires. That seems to be "the process" to date.

Baylee came in aged 7yrs and so he had 7yrs of coaching prior to the last 3 yrs. A lot of work was put in with Baylee regarding nutrition, diet sheets and fitness levels. This allowed him to develop his natural talent. Without these early interventions he would not be where he is now. Credit goes to Sevvy and the previous academy coaching staff

Fair play to Dipepa. I'd assumed he was added to the squad mainly for them to have a closer look at him. He obviously did well enough to get on the bench and then took his opportunity.  I'd guess he will be on the bench as a minimum on Saturday and next Tuesday.

After scoring 2 goals as a sub,you would think they might just start him for the next game
