Anyone who thinks we've got a chance of bringing in Moore or anyone who's recently left a championship job is a crackpot.

We might, MIGHT, be able to convince Ainsworth if he's got a sentimental side. Outside of that it will be someone like Kennedy who's got no chance of getting a normal L1 job.

The most obvious thing from having 3 academy coaches in charge tonight is that any idea that sacking Crosby was planned clearly isn’t the case. You’d think Flitcroft and Carol must have been thinking, given some of the dire performances prior to Saturday he’d be gone soon. 
 

Yet there seems to have been no plan in place to replace him. We are just left scrabbling around for the next man.

I know a few lads who have played or do play for him. They all speak very highly of him and say he will go in to bigger things. However, I do think he needs to manage in the national league perhaps before jumping straight into league 1.

Whoever it is will be desperate for any job and by definition will not have done well recently. The timing of Crosby`s sacking could not be worse. To say someone is uninspiring missses the point, that this job at the moment to anyone with credit in the bank as a manager would be considered a  poisoned chalice and a position worth swerving. Good luck to whoever takes it on as we have a deluded fanbase that seems to think we have a God given right to get results and entertain like we are Tottenham Hotspur in spite of gaping holes in the squad and a ridiculous amount of injuries. On the plus side we do have some nice match day dressing rooms to inspire our boys.
