Our record in 2024...

Played 20 Won 2 !! 😡

We are all angry about yesterday because its the hope that kills you but those two wins coming back to back were massive sticking plasters !

A complete disaster, and wouldn't be surprised if Fleetwood and Cheltenham sneaked above us !

I can't imagine the Shanahans wanting to stick around next year if (when) we are relegated. The humiliation will be total. That said, who could they off-load the Club to, having destroyed most of the value in it other than as a property development opportunity?

Relegation is part of football, setbacks are part of business, learn from it and move on.

To put it bluntly:

We need to win both the remaining home games (as Bolton is a write off) to leave us on 46.

Cheltenham need to pick up less than 3 points against Cheltenham, Reading, and Fleetwood. If they pick up 3 points we’ll need to overturn a GD deficit of 5.

OR

Shrewsbury lose all 3 games vs Charlton, Bolton, and Orient, and we stay up on GD (both of us currently on -30)

It basically rests on us winning the same number of games in the next 3 as we have in our last 20, and either Cheltenham or Shrews really ballsing it. 99% chance we’re gone, probably all but confirmed tomorrow.

It is to me and you but to her? I'm not so sure, don't you know how saintly they are? This sort of thing shouldn't happen to people like them.

How so?

Burton on 43 points, we're on 40.

Burton win, we lose, would mean Burton are 6 points ahead with 2 left?

Probably on GD . Won't be mathematically done tomorrow but virtually sealed.

We won't win another game. Although knowing us we'll already be down and put 4 up Cambridge.

Very easy to say, but I just repeated your sentence and found my fist had punched a hole in a nearby stud wall.  I’ll be needing some patch plaster before I can learn from it and move on. 😖

When Reading invaded the pitch, according to EFL rules, we should have got the 3 points. We didn't. And lost the re-arranged game.

Those 3 points could now relegate us!

We've been garbage, and deserve to be relegated, but another team will be the same and finish 5th bottom!

We should have appealed that, but like the team on the pitch, just rolled over!

The rules were a bit vauge on that in fairness, but we'd have had a better chance of beating them with Alfie and Uche starting than we did in Feb with neither!

Maybe we should pay some people to invade the pitch at their last home game to get them another points deduction.
