Suely The Vale should be awarded the

3 points in these circumstances, imo .

I feel for Reading - my guess there will be some sort of charge of failing to keep their fans under control, but they had to start the game, they probably (I hope) recruited more plod just in case, since stewards are bog all use, but if hundreds of fans want to get on the pitch, they will.  Most right minded fans would have wanted to have a go at winning 3 points - this has just dug them deeper into the pit.  Rotten for SVA to go all that way for 16 minutes and hour standing around waiting to be told what was going on before abandonment.

I read that there were only 4 police in attendance…

Don't disagree with your comment.  But what's the alternative?

It’s quite simple in my mind. We get the game & the points. There is literally no other fair alternative.

Why?

got to award game and 3 pts to vale at very least, setting dangerous precedent if not

Play the remaining 73 minutes

The EFL won't set that precedent. I'd put money on it!

Why have teams in the past not been awarded the 3 pts when game's have been abandoned through pitch invasions?

Reading forum say they will carry on doing this for the rest of the season.  What is the point in keeping them in the league!

Bloody disgrace, 1 effort on target - Crosby Out.

If that isn’t 3 point to Vale it’s an absolute disgrace.

Get them relegated. They’ll just keep doing it.

The EFL will look at this and decide an appropriate action. There is zero chance that we'll be given a point each, that would set a very dangerous precendent. It's evens for me whether we get given the points and a 3-0 win or we have to replay it behind closed doors. What IS virtually certain is that Reading are looking at a pretty serious punishment, a points deduction that would dwarf what they've got so far or even being made to play further games behind closed doors.

When?

No…again how is that fair to us? Anything could happen in the time between now & the resumption (assuming it’s not imminent) i.e. injuries to key players.

Also, fans paid to watch 90 mins of football, so again how are they compensated?

I’m sorry - whatever the moral rights or wrongs - the fact of the matter is that their fans have deliberately caused a game to be abandoned and that surely is the same as forfeiting it?
