What can I say? It was all over social media what fans planned to do.

Our CEO is constantly spouting lies to fans too so if anything by at least they are consistent.

What lies?

Again my point stands

What have Port Vale done to protect and help the fans that went to Reading?

Apart from people mocking per usual, no one's actually come up with an answer

Maybe Brian, as you say  they did nothing, maybe they did all they could, I don't know - I'm not 'in the know', but you specifically said " Your own club's done nothing to fight your corner" so either you are 'in the know' or are just making an assumption.

I've now received my refund for the match tickets, I don't think we will be refunded for the coach travel but I suppose I did get something of a 'mystery tour' out of the journey.

Not in the know but I have read 1 comment this week and then heard exactly the same comment at the forum last night, that the club did whatever they could to get the ticket money refunded, which, according to the EFL rules, Reading have to pay back anyway.

But I have seen nothing  yet from the club in any statement or at last nights forum saying that the club are trying or seeing or doing whatever they can to seek compensation for the Vale fans that travelled to game. For those fans that paid for fuel, hotels, trains or etc or even from the club saying, we appreciate all your support at Reading & appreciated that you are all vastly out of pocket, so we are putting on free official travel for those that went to the original game.

54 quid back in my bank from Vale for 2 tickets.

Just after my train money now from Reading.

This game is looking like the difference between wether we stay up or go down. If we lose then for me we're down.

Just a quick update on the refund situation for those of us who bought on the day and for whom taking the ticket to Vale Park isn't practical.

I've been in contact with the ticket office and been able to organise getting a refund. The money hasn't landed yet, but I've been promised it.

If you or anyone you know ended up in the same situation as me, get in contact with Vale as they will sort it out for you.
