Important to get another positive result. It was about this time last season the wheels fell off. I'd imagine they will be direct and physical.  Ideally start the same 11, assuming no more injuries.

First goal is always so important. Got to make sure it's us who gets it.

My instinct is the team will change slightly unsure if its wise to play the two youngsters (and Wilson for very different reasons) again so soon after their debuts but I ve faith in Crosby and the scientists to make that decision.

I ve a feeling we will be fighting off a few bids for Garrity this window thank heavens we got him on a new contract at the start of the season.

I ll go for a 2.1 Vale win Garrity and Devine to score.

Unless Sang is back in the mix i don't see any reason for change. Same effort & work ethic & take it to them. These are really struggling. If sang is 100% i'd play him rwb but shorrock keeps his place over Grant any day of the week after that performance. Into em Vale 💪🏻 I'm going for another clean sheet in a scrappy 1-0 win. Willo to continue his good form since returning from injury with a header 😳

How about Uche thumping one in? It has taken him a while to get his fitness back, his main job is to upset defences and open up chances, but he did have a pop yesterday.

I think the lad Armstrong from Harrogate they’ve already signed so will be in their team for this one.

I'm not sure how the registration would work as they can't sign him before 1 Jan. He's not officially signed, just the deal has been agreed and training with them. Guess it depends if the FA office is open Monday morning.

I was impressed with Lomax, he got clattered early on by their number 8 and was a bit hesitant for a while after that but then he started to get stuck in again. Football is a nasty game and it is easy for a young lad to lose confidence if overplayed.

Crosby is almost in a no win situation here. Unchanged ? I'd personally say no.

Asking the two youngsters to play away is a different animal to a home game. Then you could argue that they've got to play away some time. 

If he changes it and we lost he'd get pelters.  If he doesn't change it and we lose he'll be criticised for playing the youngsters away from home.

And Chislett may well be attracting some interest too.

I don't think this will be an easy game, when your bottom of the league and desparate for points in front of your own crowd any means fair or foul to get a result.  Just hope the lads stay on the positive mind set and performance from last night and come home with the points. UTV.

According to interview Paul  Simpson  gave over Xmas Armstrong will be available to play starting with Exetet match on the 6th Jan.
