Wycombe (A) match thread - 23rd Dec

I’ve made the last minute decision to go on Saturday, and won’t be able to get to the ticket office. Does anyone know if this one is pay on the gate?

Sang is another player who has been constantly played out of position like Smith (best central defender at the club) Plant (not a LWB) Massey (much better at RWB than up front) and then finds himself out of the starting 11.  I like the idea of him in midfield if Ojo out.  Let’s play players in their best positions.

I suspect that was partly due to being right not left footed. Most left footed players would have cut that cross off. I agree I think he's more a midfield player who can play right wingback.

I wouldn’t play Sang as during the Wigan match their right winger mcmanaman was all over him and was the reason for their goal and personally I just don’t rate him but play Conlon if Ochoa can’t play

Good point . He got his positioning all wrong.

But for me get the guy in midfield.

Conlon? seriously mate, he's bang average & useless at this level. I'm grateful for his service in league 2 but get rid for me if we want to progress. Sang was coming good until he bizarrely got dropped, like others have said let's give him a run out in his natural central midfield position

Says online that any remaining tickets will be able to be bought on the day. Be very surprised if we’ve sold out!

Going this one, Id like to see the big man up top,  give em taste of there own medicine! All those years they smashed our line with the tank that is Akinfenwa, We have our own tank now, and he's hungry! UTV

Not sure but may be easier to buy online and collect the ticket on the day at Wycombe’s ticket collection point (it was main reception for me last year since I arrived after kick-off).  Appreciate this may be of no help if you don’t have access to Vales ticket web page. But I’ve done that for all but one of the ‘southern’ away fixtures this season too since I’m not local - for Stevenage FA cup there was actually no ticket when I turned up but my name was on the list and fortunately (?) they gave me a compo.

The roundabout I’m on about is the one at the end of the road of industrial units.  That is Hillbottom Road and the right turn takes you up Lane End Road. 

Apologies, I was on about the roundabout further down. Never thought of turning right where you said. I live about 20 miles away but didn't realise you could get that way. Having looked it up that is a very good way

Im assuming so, he was taken off in the previous game against Wigan as well. I think it was more that the game was gone Vs Boro & why risk him for the league or a bit of sports science crap 😜 Computer says he'll play 45. Agreed Walters drops in there if he's not fit enough to start tomorrow
