If your getting 3 grand a week you should be buzzing that's 12 grand a month .

Good on Carol if she isn't willing pay silly money .

What if you were paying someone 30 grand a week and they weren't scoring the club be closed down .

Cut your cloth according and get best out of what you can afford .

Not that what I've just read is true as it might be nonsense but come on we are Vale who average no more than 6500 home support what right have our support  moan about the strikers we can afford when most do not go once start losing a few or only come out for big games. 

Get on with it and get behind what we can afford I say .

More likely MK Dons came in with an offer that couldn't be refused as it represented a means of improving cash flow and freeing up a wage for a player more suited to the "system". I wasn't too chuffed we let Harrison go, but cash flow is king and I think Uche will prove to be a good alternative once he's lost a few kg.

You seem to have a thing against Carol.  Have you a short attention span?  Think back to how the Shanahans saved this club from the debacle that was The Smurf.

Carol is a businesswoman and PV, however much you appear to want it to defy logic, is ultimately a business.  For businesses to survive (and hopefully prosper) sensible business plans and  budgeting need to be adhered to.  This is just good business sense.  Unfortunately the same cannot be said about your nonsensical and clearly uninformed views above.

Have you got proof of that statement? And how does that contrast with bringing in Uche, who is likely to be on more money than Harrison, as he's been playing at a higher level? Sounds like guesswork to me?

We are indeed playing better football. I'm a Crosby fan but for the life of me can't understand why we keep signing injured players and not signing a striker or strikers of any potency. Scouting is key to unearthing gems from non league. I'm pretty sure there is some form of misguided committee in place fronted by Flitcroft, whilst applauding the signings of Lacovitti and Chislett and loans of Arblaster and Devine there are fundamental issues (flaws) within the "process" imo.

Uche was without a club and wanting to come back to the UK. So, several reasons maybe to accept a reasonable wage rather than extortionate.

I liked Harrison who does a lot right in attack and defence. But he's a L1 / L2 striker because he misses too many chances.
