Do we know when the various crocks injured players are due to return?

According to the official website's Crosby interview...

  • Ojo ahead of schedule - "next couple of weeks"
  • Jones - back in full training
  • Plant - "back on the grass" (hopefully he means the training pitch)
  • Garrity and Ikpeazu - on the long-term list (Uche was said to be 12 weeks)
  • No mention of Mitch Clark but I presume he's still some way away too

Well it is what it is. Can't do anything about it now. Nice little change in formation for tomorrow please. Going to be interesting come 2pm Saturday to see the line up and formation. Time for the old heads to step up and get behind the young uns, like Ben was doing before he got injured.
Strangely looking more forward to tomorrow now to see what on earth is going to happen emoji12.png

Tbf Tj you are literally the only fan I have seen with issues about RW who has done more for the club than you ever will.

Pointless comparison. I’m not the club President. This “whatabouttery” and personalized equivalency is meaningless.

Proportionally based on our respective incomes I have put in far more money than multi millionaire Robbie Williams.

The risk you take leaving it to the last minutes of a window to business. Plenty of clubs have signed strikers well before the window closing

I wonder if we had a back up, we should've  done considering the recruitment team work 2-3 windows in advance, considering Uche was on his way to Charlton surely we had more irons in the fire.

So, after yesterday’s disappointment, we are where we are.  Unless something gets announced at last minute and surprises us all, we know what we’ve got – unless we get a Free Agent in.

So, assuming we don’t get either of the above, I’d hope and pray we play Willow and Loft together upfront and that Lopata help sure-up the defence (so we concede fewer goals) and that Mighten and Chissie help provide the service that Willow and Loft need.

Here’s my take on Feb fixtures:

  • Fleetwood (a) 1pt.  I’d be happy with a draw – though I’m sure we could win this.
  • Orient (h) 1pt. I’d be happy with a draw
  • Stevenage (h) 1pt. As above
  • Peterborough (a) 0pt. Cant see us getting anything out of this game; if anything it’s a free hit and we should go there any try and beat them
  • Cheltenham (a) 1pt. Cant see why we cant compete with them
  • Reading (a) 3pts.  One of the clubs with bigger problems than us.
  • Lincoln (h) 3pts. They are team we can beat
  • Fleetword (h) 3pts.  We should beat them at Vale Park

13-15 points in February; Ojo back for the Cheltenham match.

Got a key call at 15:15 this aft6ernoon then I’m off for a Friday beer.

As I understand it the money we were making from that was going to part fund the Young deal till Uche failed the medical.
