Pain in the back side to be honest, good for the individuals however, clubs like ours will lose money!

Proved already. 5900 v Burton. A point to go top.

I'd hazard a guess Fleetwood and Orient will both be below 5000.

I hate it myself. As good as it is for the lads they are loanees so not really any kudos to ourselves.

An absolute nuisance to have another free Saturday. Other than Ollie I'd actually play it.

Devine form has dipped, Thomas is bit part so we'd possibly only have 1 definite starter missing.  However I've no doubt now the threshold has been triggered we'll get it called off.

I would play it if not for Ollie!

Thats it isn't it, assuming defeat tomorrow, Fleetwood looks our best chance of a win with Stevenage A, Peterborough H to follow so would want to be facing them as strong as possible and Ollie is key.

Doesn't appease me. It's a blasted nuisance as I said previously.

We never had this problem last year with Mipo, Liam Macarron and Thierry Small did we?  Little did we realise how blessed we were at the time!    No Saturday postponements and we got to see THEM play

I think they should just make all clubs play during international breaks.

Surely it would aid player development more than 3 games in the efl trophy. Having said that many of the players who feature for the u21 sides probably still wouldn't get anywhere near the squad.

The only way you should be able to get a game called off is if you don't have enough contracted players over 18 to complete a match day squad.

I've just seen all but four League One matches are postponed this weekend. Do clubs get any say so in this? Barnsley vs Bolton and Northampton vs Portsmouth stand out. Potential big gates now taking place on Tuesday nights for what is probably a few U21 players from Prem teams who may get a few minutes of action if they're lucky

Clubs can decide so we could of chosen to play the Fleetwood game, obviously if both sides have 3 or more out then it only takes one to P-P it, as I say next season they may as well scrap fixtures being set for the weekend of internationals as only 2 games played the previous International break i believe too, saves late postponements and can schedule to even out the home or away games lost at weekends.

One option would be to schedule group games of the EFL Trophy those Saturday International weekends one in Sept, Oct and November, thus freeing up the Tuesday's for the league fixtures to be played and offset some of the losses.
