My sister didn't look injured when she walked in to the ground either but she's less than 2 months post ACL reconstruction, doubt she'd be able to play football for 90 minutes

Is she available to sign perm for Vale...??

I'll get me coat...

Crosby has said (twice) in post match interviews that Harrison picked up a calf injury in the warm up on Saturday. He was asked about it post match and again last night where he confirmed the same reasoning.

However, his answers have been short, and not expanded upon, so its likely something is not right.

They said on the radio in the pre match programme last night that he was there but not named in the squad.

I know this will be a bit flag waving for Radio Stoke which is somehow a crime here, but they do explain a lot of this stuff in their pre match stuff. They either get an interview with Crosby to explain the selection or go through the formation and selection an hour before kick off.

Have to agree with all of that , even if he was our top scorer last season

He can be useful and I'd prefer him to stay, don't get me wrong. But that's just much more to do with our lack of options, even with him, than him being anything great.

For all of my moaning and groaning, I'm actually optimistic if only we can get stronger at the top end of the pitch. The likes of Chislett, Arblaster and Grant (although he's yet to really show it) are much better than anything we had last season that were replaced. An Iacovitti has clearly made a difference to our back line.

Decent strikers are hard to come by at the moment and Harrison is a decent striker. Dunno if he's had his head turned but obviously we cannot afford to let him leave.

He was decent at the start of his vale career but was way off form afterwards and hasn’t looked anywhere near the same player he was in those first 10 games he played in

So was the whole side. Personally think Harrison is underrated on here. Played a lot of 90 mins alone early doors and carried us putting in many big shifts. Think we ran him down and it took its tole, for me with our squad as it currently is, he is vital to us. Let him go and we best have two quality strikers lined up!

Probably a load of <ovf censored>.

Why would we let him go? We currently have 3 strikers. Harrison is the best of the 3. Of the other two, one is a crock, and one is a young lad on loan.

If someone offers him money and he wants to go we can't do much to stop him.
