Feel like people have very short memories. He was up there for player of the year last year. Scored at a 1 in 3 rate, and his general all round play for the team, holding the ball up etc was second to none.

He also stopped scoring because he had f all service to him and no midfield for the majority of last season

We have to accept the fee though. Which surely we wouldn’t do unless we had a replacement in? Because we’d then have 2 strikers with about 2 weeks of the window left. I can’t see how he ends up going unless we bring someone else in first.

On top of his goals, he's probably the only attacking option weve got that can hold the ball up and win flick ons. On top of which he's one of our better set pieces defenders. Considering how much we launch the ball from ths goalie its noticeable when hes not on the pitch.

I hope he stays, and stays fit for a bit.

He's been having niggling injuries now since the start of the year. It was the same in pre-season and he's not really got going in the first two games he played.

I would take a chance and sell him but only if we have a good replacement already lined up.

The game v Blackpool was a supremely tough physical endeavour. Ask Garrity about that. The Vale players were out on their feet and hanging on for the last 15 mins. Hence anyone not at supreme fitness wouldn't play and I note Wikson didn't come on or start. Hence Harrison looks to be injured and we would like to find out how severely. Harrison is a good L1 striker but a L2 club pushing the boat out for promotion might fancy him. We would need a replacement of similar type - holds the ball up, good in the air, experienced etc.

I think he was getting battered last season because we were short of other effective attackers. That likely resulted in injuries.

It does not count for being injured throughout pre-season though and then get injured in the warm before the Reading game

I love Harrison he’s my favourite player in the squad. Love his attitude. Puts head and body anywhere to gain an advantage. He does so much grafting for the team BUT if the club aren’t sure they want him beyond this season and we have a good fee on offer then he needs to go.

I’d be amazed if we don’t have a transfer board of targets lined up as replacements for all positions.
