I haven’t heard what the deal is with Hall/Pett and whether they were injured on Saturday. I don’t see that we have anyone to replace smith now that lad has gone on loan to Chorley. I would put Worrall in that side as he didn’t start either but then it’s less minutes for Robinson. Could easily have McCarron for Small especially as he was on the bench Saturday. I don’t like this trophy because if the the B teams but I don’t like to see it out of interest for our alternative players

Hall was definitely limping as he trudged off at Barnsley. Guessing Pett is nowhere near his level after summer operation. 

Both were average to poor at Barnsley so could as easily been dropped as injured. As ever we'll never know .

Which also explained why players were in the team one week, then not even on the bench the next.

Yes Vale need to keep all our best players fit I know the cup is good for the money. But I do think the 3 points on Saturday are very important to . Good Luck for tonight Vale and a win on Saturday would be Brilliant .

The players know the system, so less worried than the online managers about the pecking order. Otherwise join a different club.

4141 is the only formation that would make any sense with that lineup with either Politic or mcarron as the front man

We haven't actually got a actual striker playing tonight. Looks like politic small or even McDermott are playing out of position. I thought we would have played mipo in this game with him only playing about 15 minutes on Saturday.

Not too bad a team really given we've changed the whole lineup. Forgot Mipo was off on international duty otherwise no doubt he'd be in the squad.

Interested in how McCarron goes anyway.

6 of that 11 were here last season. 5 of that 6 were starters in a promotion side. Politic a bit inbetween starter and regular sub. Says a lot about squad depth now.

Mipo is with the Irish under 21s. They have a game on Friday.
