I don’t get why they’ve been in this, what, 5 year+ malaise??

They’ve been through umpteen top managers (Rowett would have been my tip to get them up), are not exactly short of a bob or two and are generally well backed by the fans.

So why do a succession of managers keep getting it wrong??

What they used to average in the old division 1 (on their better seasons) when attendances were recorded by those who actually attended.

Watched it as well. Preston were dreadful bar the last 15 minutes when they realised they could and should be winning the game.

All of this overwhelms me with quite joyous emotion. 😊 It used to be good to see, even when we were <ovf censored>, because its all that we had to cheer us up, but to be a Vale fan now could only be surpassed by us swapping leagues with them. Ofcourse, that can't possibly happen - can it?

The only reason I can think they do it would be to manipulate their way round FFP.

Realistically and this will stick in every Stoke fans throat but unless they get back to the Premier (which based on today LOL to that) the only chance they will have of selling that dump out is if they played us.
