I'd have thought development squad age would be 17 to 19 ish.

If someone is 22 then they're coming here to be in the first team picture.

I'd forgotten about him, didn't he manage about 25-30 minutes in the Darrell Clarke bracket for shortest ever Vale career(as a player).   That would make 4 then with Bikey and Madjo(if the new lad signed).  On our way to a 5 a side team of Cameroonians!😁

It wasn’t quite that short a Vale career. He came on as sub for the second half of a midweek game v Oldham and started on the Saturday v Wycombe. He might have been in line to play in the derby a week later if he hadn’t picked the injury.

We have reached 450 pages on a rumours thread where most of our transfer activity was completed in one day!

No problem with that except when a poster quotes a rumour and it's commented on as fact and the poster starts dishing the club for 'considering' signing the player when the truth is we have probably not even bid for them!

450 pages is some going when the info coming from the club is so tightly controlled that it's impossible to know with any certainty who is on the Vale's wanted list.

Thats why it is a rumour thread people here things most likely not to be true.

If you're talking about Tyreece, I don't think we're in a position to pay the £250k asking price.

They wont get near to that for a player who has been training with the kids and has less than 12mths on his contract.. my realistic guess would be around 100-120k plus a sell on maybe even a little less,either way we would be in a position to pay that for the right player 100%

Other than the comments where the posters quote as if the rumour is fact, I was meaning g to say well done to everyone for creating enough rumours to get us to 750 pages!

I imagine Simpson would probably hope for another loan somewhere and run his contract down with the aim of a bigger payday when picked up on a free next summer.

When you look back we've had a few like that who've barely played again.  Cuvelier was another not too long ago!

These posts are confusing me! And it's not a dig on you ValeForever!!

But the same people having a laugh about Covolan, are saying "trust the process". Wasn't Covolan brought in under that same "the right fit" process? Wasn't it DF and DC the brought him in?
