If we match Southend and Grimsby for points until the end of the season we will stay up. We don’t have to win every game or even draw them as those 2 won’t either.

That is the way I’m thinking

Walsall and Colchester are also right in the relegation melting pot. Both dropping like a stone, obviously a massive game next weekend.

Come on Vale

Decent team that, Guthrie not even on the bench.

Clarke certainly chops it around match-to-match for some players - in the starting XI one match and then dropped from the entire 18 the next. It must keep everyone on their toes.

Can't see how Guthrie will ever play again this season after Tuesday. His all-round play has slowly diminished since he signed ( I thought his contribution was really good in the 1st few games)without having chances however he has missed far too many guilt edge chances now to keep playing.

No Maddison for them, I know he’s not been great but always scores a stunner against us!

Strong selection available. Not expecting anything from today but anything can happen in football I guess.

Doesn't seem to be a fan of Burgess either

Second Saturday running not in the squad

Maybe his shirt and tie isn't up to scratch?! 😆

Anybody else singing the okey cokey?

More nervous about results elsewhere today than ours as I'm resigned to it.

They're due a defeat, not lost in ten. So you never know.

The most annoying thing is that this should always be a tough game. Bolton in league two for a league fixture shouldn't happen really, so it feels a bit of a freak.

It's the fact we've lost to leyton orient, walsall, scunthorpe, Barrow etc at home.

It's that form that's put us here.

I feel nauseous!

we are right in the mire

Every fixture is a winnable game in this league, no standout teams. Starting today nice 3-1 win incoming.

Putting aside the Guthrie hatred.

Playing him today makes no sense... He is our best outlet for a long ball and to win headers. Santos is exceptional at that and would have dominated Guthrie nullified the only thing he is bringing to the team at the moment.

Let Santos deal with Rodneys power and pace for 90 mins with Swan sniffing around for scraps.
