To be honest this is why I love to watch Monty play.

I know it's about results but I'd like to be entertained along the way.  When Monty gets on the ball I have no idea what is going to happen, and sometimes it is spectacular.

For me we need to find a way to get Monty on the pitch when he is fit.

I agree. Always like him. He has a lot of fight in him, and during that terrible run was the only player who looked bothered at times. Think he adds a lot, and we just have to accept the inevitable odd mistake.

Isn't it obvious?

Yeah, those fans ought to be blimin' ashamed! Costing Askey his job. Disgusting. Always blame the fans.

A bit of praise for our ground staff getting todays match on!

A huge amount of praise should go to the ground staff for getting this game on today.

Who is this on the radio 🙈

Experience. Experience experience experience? Experience! Experience; experience to experience, experience and experience. Yes - experience.

Experience in the managerial department really worked wonders for Grimsby today.

Was it?  They were the poorest side we have seen at Vale Park in a long time.   I thought we were better first half but 2nd after changing things we looked poor again for large parts of it.
Askey has gone, its a shame your haven't got enough class to acknowledge he was done over.

You just need to let it go. The correct decision was made.

Yes, probably as it'd be the 80th minute and we'd ship 3 goals before the game finished.

Get over it, mate. Askey is gone. Today was 100x better than anything served up since September, bar the Bolton circus. Let's look forward to things picking up and enjoy a good win.

Really?  100x better?  🤣🤣

100x better than Barrow and Mansfield, at the very least.

Significantly better than most performances this year.

That's 2 games.  No way was that a great performance today, just miles better than the most recent tripe we've endured.

Far better performance and Dynamic Danny Pugh changing a formation even when winning which worked well as it then kept Grimsby at arms length rather than be open with two in the middle when they are going to have a go at us.

Goals taken well and we looked much more organised and professional in how we went about our business today.

Plenty of timewasting to kill momentum, less risks taken.

Good 3 points against a very poor side, the gap between the two sides suggests maybe there are a couple of sides far worse than us if we keep our act together!

Still Gibbons and Manny to come into that line up.

Who's this Manny guy you speak of 🤣

I thought it was great. Grimsby offered little resistance, but we had a fair few chances and looked solid at the back. Really enjoyed it, and bar Bolton, best since November (if we can agree on that).

Absolutely delusional

It isn’t even worth replying to him or entertaining his thoughts on the performance because his personal agenda against one of our players just clouds everything else.

Fair play to Pugh today.  442 first half was end to end, we were wide open at times.  Second half he changed it to 433 and shut up shop.

That was pleasing. We had a plan b before the 85th minute.
