Brexit again...

Just as a matter of interest, if you consider the BBC to have a left-leaning bias which media sources do you consider to be neutral and to report current affairs in a truthful and unbiased manner?

Another question?

OK,I really don't know if any news station is neutral, truthful and unbiased, but I sometimes watch RT, for an extreme position, Al Jazeera for more a Mid East point of view, France24 for a European viewpoint and CNN, and sometimes SKY News, now and again BBC News, but mainly for the sport report.

Please. no more questions, it is so time consuming and most have been answered previously.

That is for movement of people from outside the EU.

It's the same principle though, you've got thousands of people from poorer countries trying to reach wealthier countries.

You can't blame them but did anybody vote for this?

We are a small island with increasingly overcrowded cities, strained public services and an enduring housing crisis.Public opinion has been consistently against mass immigration for well over a decade now and it isn't something you can ignore.

Do you think Corbyn, McDonnell, and Abbott think the BBC is left wing?

Not yet another question?

I guess the answer is yes, seeing as James Purnell, an ex Labour MP and Demos member, is Director of Radio.

Please, no more questions, it's too time consuming and you tend to ignore whatever the answer is anyway with some seemingly smart ask comment followed by yet another question.

Try making statements or observations instead, it's more interesting for those reading.

That's a good example, Jean, and I would like to add another more general one regarding the social historian Dominic Sandbrook who's programmes are so pro-Tory, especially Thatcher, and anti-Labour it's almost embarrassing. He's more openly biased than the nauseating monarchist sycophant David Starkey. If the BBC have a left wing bias they do a damn good job of hiding it letting these two have a free hand in making programmes.

The topic was borders within the EU, we kept our borders unlike some mainland countries. immigration has populated the world since the year dot. If you want it to stabilize, spread the wealth around. As for refugees, there are apparently 68 million in the world, the vast majority in camps in adjacent countries, thus relatively few coming to Europe. Housing etc is a consequence of Govt policy, supply does not cater for demand, mainly because jobs are not where the housing is, keep creating jobs in the South, then people move from else where in the UK or have to be attracted from other countries.

Defend this one.

On Question Time since the referendum Remain panelists have outnumbered Leavers by 137-72, nearly twice as many. 86% of the time the panel was dominated by Remainers…

Leavers have only outnumbered Remainers in 3 episodes.Remainers dominated in 36.

In 16 editions there was only a single Leaver.

Prominent anti-Brexiteers dominate the repeat appearances with Emily Thornberry and Richard Burgon on 5 times, Alex Salmond and Leanne Wood on 3 times.

Jacob Rees-Mogg was the only Brexiteer to appear 3 times.

So much for the unbiased BBC?

Boom,boom

Does seem about right. What was it 37% voted leave, so the rest by definition did not want to leave, they either showed their concern or could not be bothered. Have not watched QT for years, do the panel have signs to say what they are? As I remember it they were introduced by party, or by occupation etc.

Try putting John McDonnell on BBC bias into Google and see how many hits you get.

What a fine example! John McDonnell, the man said we should 'honour the IRA', has a plaque inscribed with 'H Block Martyrs 1981' and joked about kneecapping.

Thanks anyway, but I'd rather buy a season ticket at Stoke than google his name

Think you’ll find that 51% voted leave but either way they should balance the panels, time and reporting.

I don’t think the BBC go left wing or right wing, they give a pretty good balance but I certainly think they swing very much towards remain, I go on to the BBC news website every day and find there is 3 or 4 times more reporting on pro remain issues than Brexit and when they do report something supporting a Brexit case it always has some counter statement from someone else. Plus the amount of coverage they have given to Tony Blair in the last 12 months, someone we’ve not heard from or want to hear from for a good many years.

Here's an example of an enlightened fellow countryman. I wonder if he is gammon faced, reads the Daily Heil or (worse) the Express and voted Brexit?

Hey Sourcey, please change the boring record. You still can't understand why you come across as such an arrogant, insulting,know-all, condesening clot, can you?

PS Yesterdays Daily Mail was a 124 page issue with a free England hat, a bargain at £1 and loads to read.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

As a superior being I can see the guy on the radio for what he is, a feeble minded bigot. Surely you don't think he has a valid point?
