Shame to lose that. Thought we were excellent in the second half and good value for a point. Anderson was excellent until now went off as was Davis. Worrall also impressed me when he came on and boot had by far his best game in a vale top for me. Happy with the performance again. Onto the next one

Harness was totally knackered and my initial thought for the peno was that he’d switched off for a second and allowed a runner to run off him. Aspin sounded none too pleased with it, minimal contact I think he said, but I haven’t seen it back since getting home.

I thought we were good for the point until that. Created quite a few half chances, especially second half when Barnett came on.

I still believe there’s vey little between most teams in this division.

Penalty in front of me as I was sat with work colleague, a Notts County fan. There was definitely minimal contact and Stead made a meal but ref was trying to make up for the 2 earlier penalty shouts he turned down.

Didn't go but one stat concerns me slightly - only one shot on target the whole game. Was it as bad as it sounds? Hope not.

If that was the case then it’s a disgrace because none of them were penalties beforehand, yet more examples of players going down under hardly any challenge.

Forget that. We had shots blocked and missed chances and put them under a lot of pressure for spells, moreso in the second half.

Tried phoning in and sending messages before.Ive give up doing so now.Its a waste of time and effort.

17:48 and we have had Aspo and just 1 Vale fan(Ollie) on.

I've given up listening - it's like waiting for Godot, waiting for a decent slot for the Vale. But what more can you expect from the impartial Beeb? It would be too much to ask.

Give it up is my advice

Proud of the team and shows how far we've come that we're gutted to not get anything away at 2nd.

I thought they deliberately tried to con the ref all game, Duffy more than once, and a few others flinging themselves to the floor in the box or trying to claim they'd been elbowed. A shame as they have a solid enough team.

In hindsight it is easy to blame the referee and admittedly they have a difficult job to do however today's man in the middle did nothing other than to encourage Notts County to keep on diving. At least twice in the second half a Notts County player threw himself to the floor as if shot by a sniper with no punitive action dished out by the ref, he may as well have said'keep diving lads I'll give you one in minute'. Vale were deserving of at least a point. If only the second coming of the messiah had happened a month earlier. We love you Vale.
