A short term deal for Streete would not go amiss as we need a good defender and to me Streete was class.Think Michael Brown put off suitors for Streete by saying he had a career threatening injury.Probably would need a few weeks to get up to speed and fitness but Bikey proved that positioning and class make up for fitness.

I believe he is still living and working in the area so may be tempted to sign again until the end of the season.

 

Hes said hes not interested in a move to the vale, someone asked him on Instagram and he replied, apparently hes been talking to a number of other clubs though.

Wonder if Barnett and Forrester will be in the squad on Saturday?

 

I would think Barnett but I'm doubtful about Forrester. It will tell us a lot who is on the bench on Saturday and it will be interesting to see whether he keeps with Regis and Angus as well as Wilson (if he's fit after today's game for Wolves). Looking forward to it.

If we can shift on Anton Foot-rest that would be excellent, he's been a complete waste of a wage. Injury-prone and undermotivated.

 

I might just be in a minority here but i would sooner have him in the team than Barnett if that was the choice but i wont lose any sleep if he does leave

Speaking of Gateshead players, 21yo 6'5 CB Danny Burns is someone I've heard we're looking at. Aspin paid a fee to sign him as a 19yo and we could get him at the end of the season if not sooner...

 

Listening to Aspins interview earlier, it seems he has a gentlemans agreement, not to empty them of their best players. At least not until summer. But then again, things change quickly in football sometimes...
