I think that's the missing piece in the striker jigsaw now - someone with pace who can beat a man and offer something different to the others.

Of course it's better... it was bloody cicilia and hooper! I wouldn't be laughing if we signed walker. I don't get the hype about him. He started well and faded and is extremely injury prone. We already have forrester who fits that. If we sign another forward they need to be one capable of playing a full season of football not 20 matches.

Seen it from a few AFC Wimbledon fans. You have to take it with a pinch of salt. I don't have a strong feeling on whether it's a good or bad signing. Like I say he's always scored goals in this league, so if he can do it again then fantastic. But you have to question at the same time his record in the last few years which isn't good.

We really struggled last year for goals so to get him and Pope is a good move, though he isn't a player I've been overly impressed with and my Shrews friend wasn't a fan either.

Nevertheless, he's moving back towards 'home' and he and Pope will be a real handful in the air in this league.

Rather have him playing for us than against us!

At least we are getting a bit of height and physicality in the team which was lacking last year. I hope Barnett comes good. He scored a good goal against us for AFC just before Christmas when he outmuscled Streete. Hope he can do that regularly for us.
