Wasn't convinced early on with him but he has been absolutely brilliant recently he was my man of the match against Bolton and sounded quality again tonight. If anyone will keep us up it could be him. I agree though sign him up regardless.

It's been clear for a while now that he's been the only one with a bit of magic in his boots and having a bit of quality about him that we lack elsewhere in the team.

The only other one is Thomas but he's been injured so often that it's months and months since he delivered.

Eagles clearly wasn't fit to begin with but has worked hard to improve that and undoubtedly has ability on the ball that others patently lack.

Last night apart, he's looked our best hope in recent weeks.

We need to get him on the ball as much as we can.

I thought he was superb last night.

 

AS soon as he hit it I thought it was in. Seeing the net almost get ripped off the posts was amazing.

 

Not seen a celebration like that from the fans for a long time.

Agree entirely. Last night I witnessed one of the finest performances in a Vale shirt, he made up for what at least 5 others lacked attacking wise. Reminded me very much of Beckhams contribution for England v Greece. Chris also had a similar performance against us when playing for Burnley - he murdered us (Gannons first game!)

The fella is a class act, if we can sign him it's a no-brainer. Superb player.

Eagles take a bow son now to do it again v Fleetwood for Vale and Bolton .

I wonder if playing Reeves in there helped for someone so young he was having a fair few goal attempts .
