Lose this and imo we are as good as down. We played Tuesday and struggling to put out a first 11 of any standard, not looking good...

M.K. Dons in the main have been beating lower L1 teams and losing or drawing against better teams.

They've only scored nine goals in the last ten games, so I fancy that Vale should clinch this one if they perform as they did prior to the Coventry shambles.

My concern is we haven't kept a clean sheet since Jan 2nd and that was against the shot shy Oldham. If the stats are anything to go by we have to score at least 2 goals tomorrow and with a very depleted strike force that's going to be tough.

Ryan Taylor scored in his first game back for us. Alex Jones scored after two minutes of coming on for Bradford against us. Louis Dodds scored a few minutes after coming on for Shrewsbury against us. Reg took 90 minutes not to score. Jones was coming back from injury, Dodds doesn't play much, Taylor hadn't played for 2 months. If you have the skill, the fitness isn't so much of an issue....

Put Reggie on after 70 mins when MK are sussed out and tired, with support, if we need him.

Its impossible to pick a team for this game, bar a couple of exceptions, they're either *****, carrying knocks or unavailable.

If were without Hooper or Forrester i would actually play 4 3 3 with Shodipo and Thomas / Kelly and Eagles in the middle. The best out of a terrible situation. We should have signed a back up striker by now. Think Browns handling of transfers in six months has been dire.

 

Cecilia is only worth 20 minutes when chasing a game, says something when I'd rather play without a striker than him. At least with Thomas / Eagles / Shopido we can use pace and rely on set pieces to win headers etc.

That's a horrible example and proves nothing. Taylor has been able to keep fit Dodds hasn't been injured and does still play regularly. Cicilia has been injured for quite some time and was probably nowhere near match fit. Jones had played a few games for Bradford as well and then picked up a minor injury. Cicilia is pretty rubbish but that's a really bad example.

As for the team I have no idea, one positive is that mk dons will have no idea either. If i was brown I'd simply play the players who care and show fight. Although there's only two I'd like to see start from Tuesday. Smith and streete.
