If Brown played JJ, Pugh, Forrester, Kiko and Street when he knew all were well below fitness then that was very nieave.

 

And there lies the issue, our first 11 when 100% fit are just about good enough to stay up. When carrying injuries they clearly aren't but unfortunately their replacements are not good enough even when 100% fit! It was clear yesterday that Foley, Kiko, Pugh, JJ, and Forrester are all playing with injuries. At we have a week off!

After watching yesterday's game I suddenly remembered what I should have given up for Lent.......Port Vale. I am a masochist so I'll be there next week. I've sent myself to Hell already as I've bought a season ticket for next year. Going down will happen. I will sit in the Bycars and watch our demise. We need to clear this rubbish out of the club. In Division 2 we need to trim the squad to 23-24. Quality not quantity. Smurf pay that quality a decent wage. Keep Brownie as the manager. It's not his fault this debacle. Saddled with cr.p unfit demotivated players. Hands tied in the January window despite £350K coming into the club. Even if we had simply kept Alnwick we would have been 2 or 3 points better off now. Smurf to go yes for his sake and ours. To be replaced by Hedge Funds - no thanks. Ask my Coventry pals what they think of Hedge Fund owners. Asset strippers. Yesterday was a sad day. The old proverbial nail in the coffin. However Vale will survive and we will get stronger. UTV

Hooper was woeful, didn't move all game , the worst two being when he was caught offside because he couldn't be arsed to moved two yards on side.

 

We lacked pace today, Pugh and Taylor aren't good enough to play centre midfield and eagles seems to think he's better than us, even though he clearly isn't good enough let alone better.

 

Eagles has actually impressed me will go down as one of the better players in this joke of a season... but hey this is our best team for 10 years!!!

Can't understand for the life of me why super Sam Kelly wasn't playing. Absolute game changer. Brown out. Smurf out.

 

He could not change a game at all you need heart ability and desire to be a footballer and the passion like the fans of the vale have for there club to change the game something that he sadly lacks i'm afraid.One more point i would like to make is though the vale played garbage it was nice to see a captain on the pitch someone who tried to organise his players was vocal on the pitch stand up mr Bikey i can only suggest that Purkiss watches the video and learn what a leader supposed to do.

A club well run by an owner who knows what he's doing. To think their crowds have more than doubled since the early nineties and ours have halved. What will the next 20 years look like?
