Attacking wise, very little has changed since Bruno. We might have better forward players but, to all intents and purposes, they are so far apart that Walker is isolated.

 

Oh for a strike partnership ala Foyle and Naylor, Brooker and McPhee.

 

For me . all started when he got rid of Pope , didnt want to pay for a goalscore, and still doesnt.

Have you convinced yourself that Smurf doesn't put money in? He managed to spend some money but panic bought because his lack of experience left us still snort when the window was closing. Are these loan players and Pugh playing for nowt then? Do you believe they were Brown's first choices?

We signed 8 players in this window. Two permanently they are clearly spending money. What is clear is that brown looks out of his depth

Bl**dy hell, talk about doom & gloom. Looked at objectively, we probably need another 20-22 points from the remaining 17 games to stay in league One--not unachievable IMO?

 

All teams in this division seem capable of beating each other with no great logic--Believe me--if you're also doing the League One prediction competition! Look at the Southend v Scunthorpe match today and Bolton who not long ago looked a shoe-in for promotion have had a bad run--so too had Peterborough (until today!) We'll pick up again at some point and although I'm not a betting man, looking at the teams below us I still think we might just scrape into 19th/20th position.

We don't know how much and who's paying the salaries of the loan players, what's clear is that money wasn't spent on transfer fees to bring in some quality.

 

Again you don't know when Brown started the process of trying to bring players in. Brown has publically stated he wanted to bring experienced players in but they went elswhere, ask yourself why.

Today wasn't good but previously 5 points from 4 games one against an inform top of the table team whom Vale were unlucky to lose to and played well says differently. Brown has a huge job on his hands, Bruno/Smurf much to answer for.

 

8 in 5 or 6 out including Grant who may have been one of the higher eaners so probably financially neutral.

Bell spent money on players , quality players , and look at the great sides (and times) we had. Name one decent player that NS has bought in that cost a fee.
