Will Smurfs plan fail when he can't get work permits for the Portugese. We should have stayed and fought for a better Britain.

Just watching the BBC and the message I'm getting is immigration / work permits will not be effected in the short term i.e. 2 years plus before changes will be made.

Highest % for out was S-O-T, 40 years of neglect by the South, but will anything change?

Not sure what will happen Bon'Ami, but I was interested - not surprised - to hear the likes of Farage calling for a re-engaging with the 'Commonwealth' in trade and other matters. All I can say is good luck when it comes to Australia because our ties in the Australasian Region now take priority.

So you're leaving the EU? What a proper smack in the political backside for Brussels and Berlin.

Where to now?

Could be very bad news long term. Going to be interesting but potentially dangerous and potentially very costly times.

Interesting to see the breakdown that the inhabitants of NI and Scotland (of all countries) voted to stay yet England and Wales voted to leave.

Fair credit to Cameron for sticking to his principles and standing down, didn't think he'd have it in him.

Free, set free!!! RULE BRITANNIA!

The scare mongering threats and lies did not have the desired effects on the majority of ordinary every day normal BRITISH citizens.

Cameron and Osborne have lost all creditabilty and should resign.

Now that Britain has taken a lead and the union will be worse off other populations of the union may want a referendum to get out; especially when talks with speeding up the inclusion of Turkey resume next week.

I am an old man and the future of our glorious country does not concern me too much, I am happy for our future generations and especially my own family.

British politicians should now stop thinking of themselves and their financial greed and work to make our society a more equal one.

Some still think we have an empire but the world has changed and is changing fast, with the Middle East at war as well. Time for the nation of shopkeepers to find out what it is all about.

TBF to Nigel, he is not a Tory, he is not an MP, how can he possibly guarantee anything. he never made the promise, Vote Leave did, they are the Tories so they should guarantee it. I'm all for having a dig where appropriate, but you cant bag Nigel for this..
