Farage has literally just said on national TV that that isn't the case and that it was a 'mistake' to say that.

More money has been wiped off the UK's economy in the last 70 minutes than we could have saved by not paying the EU's 'membership fee'.

he said he thought it was a mistake for Vote Leave to promise it all to the NHS. Thats all. he never said it, hence he cant promise anything. He has as much say over the govt as i do.

dont be a victim, it sounds pathetic.

Enjoy the plummeting pound and the billions wiped off the stock market mate!

Hope you don't have to deal with any more Polish people and you can buy petrol with that sweet, sweet sovereignty x

Either way the Leave Campaign made that claim knowing it was untrue.

That's deception and propaganda.

What on earth are you talking about?

The economy's in shambles but its all good because maybe there will be less EU migrants here and we can repeat the words 'sovereignty' and 'take back control' to convince ourselves that the impending recession and political turmoil will all be worth it.

the London market has been open for 80 mins, already recovering. All thats happened here is a bunch of bankers backed the wrong horse, once they have got their money back from the normal people stability will be resumed. FTSE back above 6000 already. Kneejerk reactions.

Please stop.

The money is there, Farage has said they should not have pledged ALL OF THE MONEY to the NHS.

What about the deception and propaganda on the leave side? Pensions? Budgets?

Give it 2 years and there will be many more countries voting out.

Give it 5 years and you will all be wondering why we didn't do this decades ago.

We can hold our MPs accountable, we can debate the issues that matter to us, we are not obliged to constantly bail out the victims of a FAILING ECONOMY. We can trade with growing economies.

Well done those who turned out in such large numbers. I was for remaining but what's important now is that the turnout was high and the decision decisive.....although there are clearly huge divisions between London, the north, Scotland etc . We need to try and unite now as the consequences will be whatever they will be.

As for activity on the stock market/FX exchanges etc..one day means very little..it's the trend over many months/years that matters and history tells us that they will settle down..after all in the weeks leading up to the referendum the indexes were up so it's natural that they would now fall.

I can see the EU falling apart now as other nations reportedly want to leave...which in many way would be a sad thing as it was a noble attempt to bring unity to Europe but it seems set to fail...I feel it would have survived had we stayed in and hoped that it could improve..not to be

Onwards and upwards

We have just voted to leave a failing economy.

You gloss over sovereignty like it's not an issue?
