We are paying the price for having a trainee in the most important position at the club.

Have to say that a Chairman who makes decisions (ie where there is no CEO) seems more important to me. Especially if he appoints someone you call a trainee, and signs some of the players over his head - allegedly.

John Rudge was a trainee too, all managers have to start somewhere, and we had just lost an experienced boss in MA who said he couldn't go any further with Vale - I'd love to know what Micky REALLY thinks about all this too - bet he could tell us some interesting facts.

Fair enough...Yeah I know it's been all over the press for the last few days...

I just saw this quoted on social media:-

without prejudice obviously

"I've received a message off him today on Twitter saying he's seen what if put on here and said that the sentinel have been holding on to the assault story for 2 years now waiting for the right time to publish it and the Jimmy floyd hasselbank story to"

That can't be right. Smurf reckons the Sentinel gets all its stories off this forum and I don't remember reading about these ones on here a couple of years ago.

The fanbase is already split!!

For the record whilst I was fully behind previous protests I feel that protesting now would serve no purpose. Staying away completely might be the best strategy in the short term.

I don't think there should be protests nor should games be boycotted. What is needed is fans stick together, support the club. This show's any potential owner that there is a good loyal fan base at Port Vale and show's Smurf up.

I'll return when page and his entourage depart. I blame him for all this bru haha,if we'd have beaten Exeter and drawn Liverpool then that would have soothed Normans brow and his equilibrium would have returned but instead he witnessed the debacle of the season so far and we are where we are, back biting and recriminations being the norm with page seemingly unconcerned and the players more concerned about their jolly to Ireland ,such is life and as normal is full of surprises.

 I've said elsewhere we, the fans are Port Vale. We need to be there to suggest we care about the Club and figuratively stick up 2 fingers to those that pretend they care.
