Our midweek crowds are always notoriously low compared to a Saturday, so saving a few quid's a gimme. Our crowds are down this season, but I bet costs arent, therefore any savings must help. Less moaning ( I sit in the Railway Stand) and back the Vale.

They were wooden chairs aswell Tosh and you could pay ,I think it was three pence,for a nice cushion to sit on.The only thing that was lacking was waiter service."Tallyho the Vale" was one of the popular shouts.;)

I remember the bench like wooden 'chairs' before we went plastic. I don't remember cushions though... it's about time Norman sorted a waiter service out for the Chairs..

They may have had armrests, but not padded. I think Bell replaced them at some time.

They used to be wooden. Very uncomfortable I recall.
